Smile It Could Ruin A Grouchs Day!

Today's blog post brought to you by the letters "P" and "U"
AND by the neighbors router!!

**"Brains are great---I wish everyone had one!"**----Zombies

**"I have long known that it is part of God's plan for me to spend a little time with each of the most stupid people on Earth."** ---- Bill Bryson

**" Running away is not going to help you with your problems,
unless you're overweight. Then it might help."**

**"There is a fine line between crazy and free spirited, and it is usually a prescription."**

**"Hate the sin, but love the sinner."**
**"Be careful who you trust, the Devil was once an angel."**----So when we lived in Bellingham, WA -we belonged to a great church.  The family fully fit in, it was close to our house, and the sermons spoke to my wife and I and actually woke us up almost every week.  We have been trying to find a new church home here in Benson, Arizona--and the last few Sundays we pick a church as a family that we are going to try out.  I have studied many types of religion, and do not want to offend anyone to much---religion is so important, that the topic needs to be tread on lightly, something I rarely say for sure.   In the near future, I am going to do an entire blog post of our journey to find another wonderful church home.  I was going to post this in my Exploring Arizona page, but do not think it is the right fit for that.   So it will post to this page.  Anyways, last Sundays selection was the local Mormon church---so since it was a three hour service--I will have lots to report on that.   In all fairness, in the oldin' daze---just after the dinosaurs were killed off, church was an all day event.   Full of God of course, family, and community bonding.   So a mere three hours is nothing to commit, unless you are not used to such a thing.  As I said, much more on all of this very soon.

**"I do dangerous stunts and tricks in front of homeless people because I know they can not try them at home..."**

Hello and cheers to all of you in reader land!  Through the years I have found this page to be a very good experience for me.  I hope that it is somewhat for you the reader also.   I can find a quiet spot--guzzle coffee and vent without even bugging my wife.  The typing is very calming for me, as is taking the pictures that go in each of my blogs.   I have found however that many of my goals are not being met.  A huge part of this page, was so that I would get back into writing again.  Something I used to love.  I was going to force myself into seclusion as many days as possible, and just write here--hoping that this would get me inspired to work on my other projects that are in a long term holding pattern, and to always be starting new ones.  But alas-I never seem to get to any of them.  I do hope that you enjoy this long running page, and scroll down to read more, and to find links to my other blog projects.

Today's page was going to be a lot of rambling and venting, but mostly venting from the last week -that I have writing online.  But for many reasons I am seeing myself overly dissatisfied with most things, and close to slipping into a funk, much lead by depression.   So to keep from slipping all the way, I will keep the negatives out of today's post.

I am also going to do something very rare for this page---and only include two pictures about coffee.
Mostly because I am going to supply you with my link of coffee love pictures!
Feel free to browse them all and "borrow" any --
That may very well be how I got many of the pictures.

Check it out, yo!

Why do I not have this button on my keyboard??

I do not believe I have shared this list before.
I thought it was great and hope you enjoy.

You have a very good computer if it gives you the above warning.

What path calls you today? The easy path or the one less traveled. Were are you Exploring today?
Were will we Explore next??

Beautiful Arizona! All local pictures and Exploring. New page looking for more readers and support. MANY new posts, pictures, and ideas in the works! Please come Explore with us. http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/

I have noticed that there are very few good pictures of me.
This one is one of the betterer!
I am not only saying hi from the middle of the desert-but
I must vent a little right here folks.
I have mentioned this before---but every time we hike in the desert we come across trash every were from
bags floating in the wind, to piles of booze bottles.
I realize this is just a big pile of blowing sand and dirt, but it is also not your personal dump.
Please stop!
Many of these piles are basically in town.
All of these piles are ugly and greatly take away from the hike.
They also are huge draws for our dogs to Explore. Not really a good thing.
Pack out what you pack in.
That is all.  :)

Above is toady's picture of the day!
And for a big change in things, it is a current picture.
Very current--as in I took it yesterday.
An extremely nice family just up the road from us
has a whole room of birds  and this was the first time Jess got to visit them.
She was still pretty nervous about it all when I snapped this shot
but was warming up to all of the birds by the time we left.

We also went home with a very nice grand father clock
a late Christmas present or very early birthday present for my wife.
And the best part--it was free.
You would be amazed at how much stuff we get--because everyone has to much stuff.
Much of it we sell--but there is no way my wife would let me sell this.
Once we have it up and running --the clock might very well be my next picture of the day!

Take A Picture

**Another blog post first published in MY newest Exploring page.   Please check it out and share the links!    http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com     **

Last week we all ventured to the Dragoon area once again, for some rock climbing fun.  Although we left the dogs behind this time around.  On this day we stopped at the rest area, just past the Dragoon exit and just before the exit to The Thing!  Both areas I have posted about before.  As I have mentioned before, this picture filled blog is all about Exploring Arizona and all it has to offer in fun and sights.  But our funding is very minimal at the moment, so many of the hikes focus around our new home town of Benson, Arizona.  This will change.  In the mean time I hope you enjoy each post.   This is a very new page, so please share the word and the links -so we can gain readers and comments from across this amazing state, and beyond.   Each comment -good, bad, or ugly, helps me make this a better sight for all!

This area is about 12 miles from us but offers some great Exploring and lots of rock jumping fun
to quickly wear out the kiddos.
The rest area also offers lots of benches, bathrooms, and even vending machines if you do not wish to
join in on the fun.
Plus there is always lots of people watching here to enjoy.
Rocks like the above line the parking area.

And are just begging to be climbed!

A very rare picture of both of our boys together-AND looking happy.
The oldest was trying to hide behind his brother.
After I looked at this picture more-- I believe they both look more "evil" than happy.
As if happily plotting to push the other one off the rocks first.
But maybe that is just the parent in my thinking to much.

Just  down from many of the rocks is the rest areas workers residence.  And a few heavily fenced ponds.  This is also a water treatment area.   And yes the water above is green.  A very slime mutant sludge green.  Although it is still kind of pretty.  The entire area is fenced off, around both rest areas and you have to walk a bit to get around the fences to the cooler rock formations and the open desert.

Staying hydrated and ready to Explore!

Like here!!

The larger formations form almost cave like areas.
That are full of fun echoes.

The writing on the wall says "love!"   As in most places we Explore---vandals have come and gone.  Some of the art work is actually pretty neat.   If this was painted darker it might make for a nifty post card.  Although in this area de-facing the rocks is illegal.   I am not sure how one enforces this, but with all of the art work, I would say the enforcer is not to strict or crafty.

As in every hike  in this area--- magnificent mountains surround us in the distant horizon.

Each formation in this whole area is completely different and breath taking in it's own way.

Just across the way was a much taller set of hills that was calling to us.
On this portion also very rocky   but the further to the right you look, the
easier the climb appears.  Although it still spends a lot of time going up.

Reaching the top--is far easier said than done.
For one thing from our stop-- four lanes of I-10 highway and several fences stand in the way!
I was not into playing Frogger with big rigs on this day--so we quickly loaded into our truck
and set off for the very next exit, crossed over the highway, and
turned back toward Benson.  Pulling back off at the rest area on the other side.

I have a long list of places to Explore next
But were do you think we should Explore??

Were have you been on a hike lately?
Please share your thoughts and pictures.
The best will make it in future blog posts---giving you credit of course.

Please share on this pages comment section or at the links just below!

All new picture filled -all local blog post in the works!

Please tell your friends.  :)

Until next time

As always

Tell Your Friends

So many trails   So little time.

Welcome back to the few very brave of you that has read my blogs in the past, AND came back for more.   More excitement, rambling, jokes, and coffee love of course.   Or maybe you don't sleep well at night, and this very blog page puts you right to sleep.  Better than any sleeping pill, row of bottles of beer, watching golf on TV, or any mutant mixture of all of the above in any given night.   More likely though, you were up late searching for porn and ended up--by sure luck--for me--ended up on this very sight.   But whatever gets me more readers--please keep on doing it-and if you fall across anything that amuses you---PLEASE share the links.      Here are my other sights --in case you have the kiddos for the weeksend, and are wasting time till they go to bed, and you can go back to your porn sights.

It also makes me repeat things!

My newest blog series is all about Exploring beautiful Arizona -full of pictures and Exploring.  It is a start up series, so really needs every ones support.  NEW post goes to this page tomorrow!!   Tell your friends.

Obviously between things, I have to much free time.   Spend some of your free time sharing the above links---and than you can go back to "watching" your kids for the weeksend.   OK  enough shameless plugs on my part.   Thanks for playing!

Above is usually my face when my lips dive into that first cup of coffee.  And the mass amounts of caffeine start to scare away the sand man.  But on this morning the coffee was equally as happy to see me!

... Even the coffee was not helping this morning.   All the years I spent "working" at Wally World made me dislike people, but this week people in general are not high on my "like" list.   And it seems that the jerks/stupid travel in packs.   For many years ---the same years I worked at the all evil above mentioned retail giant, I was surrounded by these packs as they were the main shoppers.   So when I witness them in the wild, it is just that much more annoying.  Especially when I am trapped inside were it is much harder to run away.   Coming very soon, additions to my DURP list!   Including some new runners up for the top DURP spots.   In case you have not read my past random rambling --being a DURP is not a good thing, although they often seem to be relatives, and always fill my blog pages.   DURP at least in my book, stands for  Dim-witted Urban Redneck Parole.   See you learned something today---go celebrate by eating a cookie.

I really like to take pictures.    In case you have not gotten that memo yet.
Plus it is super calming.
Old buildings, especially barns- trees- and sunsets top my fascination at the moment.
In that same list is clouds.
I did not take the next picture, but if you are ever shooting clouds or wake up to this,
Just go back to bed and or start running....

Back to my personal pictures and MY picture of the day.

This is on the WWU campus in Bellingham, Washington.
I have several blog posts filled with Exploring this large campus.
Surrounded by trees and filled with art.
This yellow brick road of sorts  makes me want to start another adventure.
Perfect for inspiring weekend Exploring and
with my thoughts of a road trip in the very new future.

This one makes me laugh every time.

Kudos and Dam you -- Dairy Queen sign maker!

OK in conclusion this fine night---- Today and in the last few blogs I have been annoyed with an ever growing list of people.   Many of them seem to be relatives.   And I have been really struggling at not falling to equally hurtful retaliation.   In an effort to never do the above to any ones vehicle, I shall post the idea on here.   That way I would never do this prank.  This one is now out.   This will not happen, to you--by me.  I can not take blame if one of your friends finds this amazingly smart and does it to you.   Or you decide to try this   and get caught by authorities who never find things as funny as the normal, non handcuff and gun holding citizen.   As I before stated, THIS  will never happen to any of my relatives if only because I posted it here.  :)

Coffee For You And Me, But Mostly For Me!

I wish it was that easy.

Part of the magic that keeps our marriage alive.

I am once again sitting at the local grease pit---enjoying people watching and most importantly the free coffee.  I always can find the cash for free.  And even a little extra for that none existent tip.  In case I have not mentioned this, or you are a smart one, and have never read my blog before--Mc Donalds across the nation are offering free small coffee's through the 26th.   With the amount I talk about the glorious mixture, I should be a paid spokes person for the event.   But I should be a lot of things.  Whatever the case, things always taste betterer when they are free.

As I sit here for a change I am contemplating a lot of things.   I say for a change, because my mind is usually a very blank slate when I start a blog post.   And ends with an even blanker slate.  I received a nice pay check this morning--- with working for myself at the moment, our pay is all over the board each day.  But we try to make at least $40 a day.   Today we got several pay days at once.  I am also extra angry at some relatives once again.   Nothing new, I am just trying to push all of my bad ways of paying them back out of my head.  The ideas are not necessarily bad ones, they just could easily result in big negatives for me.  I also have several discussions running on local sights.   One went south very fast, when I started to argue logic, and the other person went to attempting to be hurtful just to be hurtful.  I say attempted, because after eight years working at Wally World, one has to work much harder then them to annoy me.   If one can not back up anything they say, they should not be on an argument sight.   But what do I know.

I also am trying to prep myself for a job interview this afternoon.  I do believe that job hunting is far worse than any actual job I have ever held.  Yes, including the eight years at Wally World.   Eight years that seemed like 13 I might add.  I am not even positive what position I am interviewing for.   I applied for three at this location.   I find interviews particularly draining, because I have interviewed potential workers before.   And I quickly try to over think all of the questions.    One place I had an interview started asking me questions, like what my favorite color was.    I was soon at a loss to what the questions had to do with being a checker at a grocery store, and they all soon seemed to be questions that would be asked on The Dating Game to me.   Needless to say I did not get that job, or a date.  I equally find myself over thinking those questions on an online job application.   The ones that rank how much you agree or disagree with a statement.  Many the same question just worded slightly differently to see if you are dumb enough to answer each differently.  I quickly start over thinking these --- and soon am stuck in a circle thought line, with no questions actually answered.  Maybe I should do those surveys before coffee, when my mind is still a happy shade of blank!?
Apparently I answered some of these such questions right on at least one application, because of the interview I before mentioned, coming up this afternoon.   Or I answered soooo many questions wrong, management wants to shake my hand and or use me as a case study of the perfect case book example of what not to hire.   I could tour across the nation, showing people the perfectly incorrect way to answer such questions.  And have a kool costume much like those overly sweaty workers at the dreaded Chucky Cheese- in the mouse costume.  I could be the Wascally Wrong Answering Rat or something equally as catchy. Or I just gave up and had my wife fill out all the dam tricky questions.  It is online, who's gonna tell on me?   Obviously from the above--one can determine two things---1.)  All of our kiddos want to go to Chuck Cheese very soon, so I misspoke, actually loving the place, and hoping that this plug will convince someone on there management team to send us lots of free tokens!   And B) I have way to much free time, thus thinking up all of the above random randomness.   This is good for filling blog posts, maybe not so good for those that read my blogs.   Or my wife, that spends much of that free time with me.

As much as I try to share me love for coffee
I try to share my dislike for Wally World.

Please note it is more politically correct to call them vertically challenged.

This can also apply to the Super Bowl coming up!
