Tomorrow We Welcome July

**"Coffee is that place where the sun comes up over the horizon and lights the heavens in a burst of vibrant colors."**----Even if you live in Oregon or Washington!

I am not sure how it is posiable but in mere hours we turn the calander to the July pages.  For betterer or for worse, this year is flying by.   Add working graveyards in a casino --were it is purpously  ill lighted, so one never really knows what time it is, and most of the time I have no concept of time or what day it is if I am at work or at home.  Another thing that does not seem possiable is that our oldest kiddo is not a kiddo anymore.  He is turning 14 in a few daze.  Speaking of people that are not kiddos anymore--I also might have a birthday this month.  Although I can not be to old, because cashiers and bartenders still card me when I buy booze.  It just happened today in fact.   After working almost nine hours on my day off work, I thought maybe I needed an adult beverage or five.  ;)      On this same note, somewhat I noticed just out of town on I-10 there is a big billboard about how expensive drunk driving can easily become.  This important billboard is sandwiched between not one, not two, but four---ads for beer.  I am not sure were my point is in telling this, but I find it amusing.  You might not, but please note--I grew up in Wyoming and am very easily amused.

                                                      **"Sleep is over rated."**

**If one is stuck in a parking lot---what I call not moving while on the interstate due to huge congestion----is it still considered driving and text or calling??**---Just curious.

**320 daze out of the year--I wear this badge with pride! The rest of the year-My wife gets the badge. Just like today---I must say she wears it well. **---Just sayin'   This badge I made myself  now Wally Worlds seem to lock up the materials to make your own name badges.  In any case  this hangs proudly on our fridge.

Our kiddos had a great time at the zoo and all I got was to touch an elephants butt! Do I look like a tourist?? Many more pictures from the Tucson zoo to be posted.   I will have to dig to find the pictures, but I have several pictures of my touching random things  and seeming to really enjoy it.   One was the feet on the large statue in front of the Hoover Dam.   Another is some fake boobs on a casino wall in Viva Las Vegas!

Lots of updates coming to this page!   Including our whole family's recent journey to the Tucson zoo.  A great day indeed.  Despite the messed up date stamps on the pictures, this was last Monday.

Sign I found while Exploring Billings MT one fine night.

                                                                    Umm   OK....

In case you have not gotten the memo--I am NOT in favor of ANY gun control.

**"We just felt the tremors from a small earth quake. I didn't think they had those in Arizona."**----Two nights ago at about 10 PM our house began to shake.  I was trying to blame the movement on the near by rail road tracks.  Sometimes if you are sitting on our potty when a train goes past, the potty sways, but this movement seemed like much more.  We got online and found that 50 miles east in New Mexico a 5.2 earthquake had hit.  Soon after I had to drive to work.  I was half expecting to drive into a sinkhole on the way to work.  I still have found no reports of damage---but this is a very rare event.  And my first quake for sure.  Pretty crazy!

On a similar note.   For years my wife has talked about how on the night our oldest was conseived, she felt an earthquake.  I must note here, I was not involved in this night at all---her ex husband is rather large, and they were in a motel in Arizona at this time.  I and everyone involved of this conversation, had never heard of an earthquake in Arizona, and we always counted up the earth movement to how large her ex husband was, and to what they were doing in that motel room at the time.  After almost nine years of giving my wife crap about this---we experienced this earthquake, and as usual she was right all along.

Last for tonight---but not least     I bring back my picture of the day feature!
I try to use this more and I try to use current pictures   but this one caught my eye tonight.
This is during the huge rodeo parade in Sheridan Wyoming.
The sign in the background seems to go perfect with this float  somehow.
But what do I know??

6/23/2014

**"How do people in Mexico run to the boarder to eat at Taco Bell??"**

**"We live in the era of smart phones and stupid people!"**

**"Boobytrap spelled backwards is partyboob!   Carry on."**

**"It is OK to let your mind go blank  but please turn off the sound. "**

*Boss logic* My response when you ask me something---"No!" My response when I actually hear and comprehend your question----"Hell no!!"

**"Had a one night stand---my legs are killing me!"**

In a month and one day---I may or may not be having a birthday.  If you have lots of presents, yes I am having a birthday!   I can supply you with a list of great presents I would enjoy.   But since I am the only one that can see most of my friends--I don't see to many gifts being under the ol' birthday tree.  I have been told that if you are feeling really down about life--you just change the birthday settings on all of your personal pages like Facebook--and sit back and enjoy all the greetings and well wishes!   Several months ago we got out of Bank of America.  I could spend the rest of this blog explaining how annoying the bank was--and not helpful in general for us.  Right after we switched banks, the name changed for the bank completely.  I am not sure how this even happens.  But it can not be a good sign for things to come for there customers.   I am starting to think that if we had any money we should just hide it in our bed mattress.  ----Please disregard this last sentence if you know were we live.

Today we had a rare family day and snuck away to the zoo in Tucson.  Although I have seen much betterer zoo's it was just about the right size --to enjoy and get out.   I do not like much about Phoenix--but the zoo there is amazing.  But it is much to large!   And after paying to get in--you want to see everything before leaving.  When you live in the land of the sweating sun, seeing everything before heat stroke fully sets in can be a real challenge.  But don't buy drinks at the zoo--a fountain soda can be three or more dollars!  The one in Tucson is a nice size.  Plus it has a water park in the middle---it is meant for little kids, but cooled us off just fine.  Just beside the zoo is a huge city park.  More on all of this very soon in one of my local Exploring blogs.   All about Exploring beautiful Arizona-and very full of pictures.  http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/      Please check out my newest blog sight and share the page like crazy, if you enjoy what you see there!

I am starting to really believe that living in constant sun affects people.  It seems to mostly be the same people that repeatably tell you --that the heat is not really all that bad--because it is a dry heat.  Once it gets so hot 300 days in a row--it's just flippin' hot!   I don't care if it's a dry, wet, sticky or even moist/sexy heat   it's hot out.  Stop grasping at straws and trying to tell me it's not hot out.  Having sweat drip off of every part of my body is natures way of telling me it's Dam hot out.  And if it was a totally dry heat, wet things would not be dripping out of every orifice of my body.  The constant heat makes people angry-very angry. And it seems to make them dumb.  Very dumb.  I use our current neighbors and the stories I have been telling about them as exhibits A-Z!

I have touched on this before---but if you have to do a price check at a dollar  store---maybe the owners should think about changing the name on the front door of the store.  As in---it's not a dollar store!  Locally ONLY the Dollar Tree is actually a dollar store.  Any of the others have prices all over the board.  Few of them an actual dollar.  Cliff notes:  This is NOT a dollar store.  I do wish the Dollar Tree sold gas though.  ;)

My jokes and thoughts and coffee love pictures go to my Facebook page first.
It is also the fastest way to contact and or argue with me.
Check it out

You Survived Friday The 13th---Lucky You!!

Sunset over the Waffle House in Tucson, AZ

**"Dad, you have always been like a father to me."**

**"Sometimes I swing by the police department just to see if I still have the high score on Breathalyzer!"**

**"How many different animals did we have to jump on the backs of before we discovered horses were cool with it?"**

**"Constantly telling others how great you are-- might mean you aren't all that. Let your actions show your greatness and strengths.
Also if you mess with my family---make sure you can handle the crazy storm!"**-----
More on all of this fun and thought line on another day.

**"Today's *mini rant* comes from Lake Patagonia---- Yes there are lakes in Arizona. I'd like to issue a special thank you to the family that let their two bull dogs loose to run through all of the kids and than come to annoy our 2 tied up dogs. The fine owner lady --said that her dogs were on a leash. This is true, but no one was holding on to the other end of the leashes. Any rate--these fine people are the reason we as a society needs leash laws for sure. And possibly the reason we as a society need inbred laws."**------Again more on this on another day.  We snuck to the lake a few daze back.   And I really am starting to think I just need to stop leaving the house.   ;)

Hello everyone!   I hope that all of you fathers out there and  mothers that pull double duty had an amazing and relaxing fathers day yesterday!!   In a way I had the day off---at least from my work duties.  I work 12-8 in the AM and still have not gotten used to the schedule.  I am not sure I want to get used to the schedule.   But most of my time off, I do not know what day of the week it is, what time it is, what year it is, and seem most like a living Zombie.  I did a little quick shopping in Tucson before heading home ---lost a little bit of cash at one of the casino's.  I call it donating for more Purdy flashing lights in the casino!   Got in a good nap -although I still feel tired---Always.  In the evening I took a dip in our new pool and watched the sun set.   Arizona sun sets are seldom disappointing.  I than had a couple of brews and just relaxed.  The dip in the pool was extra nice, because by than the water was chilly---by Arizona standards and no one else was brave enough to get in the water.  It felt great--and I have definitely decided to swim in much colder pools in my travels.

In an attempt to pimp out our car port--and just live on it when the breeze is blowing.  We have some really neat items on our covered car port.   A lot of the goal is to stay away from all of our neighbors also and to make them jealous.  Between the dippy, overly judgemental residents here with waaaaay to much free time and the in laws, we are seriously very close to ready to move again.  Much closer to work would be great.  Among those items on our calming porch --we just added a pool.   A big pool --one that almost did not fit on the porch.    It is one of those above ground models 12 feet X 3 feet  and it is amazing.  We splurged a little--and I will add pictures soon.   I have to say that the most fun was buying the pool---we used my tip money and a good deal of it was 1 dollar bills.   As the cashier was counting the stack of bills for the 2nd time, I explained out loud -that all of those ones had just come out of my G-string the night before!    The cashiers look was classic, as she stopped counting the cash -trying to decide if I was joking or not.  I am easily amused --but come on, that's funny right there.  Happily if she thought it was true or not, she still sold us the pool.

Stayed in Tucson was 100+ outside All ready to take a dip in the pool..... And awww! Fail. More local Exploring http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/    Many more posts in the works for this page.  Plus lots of Exploring and picture taking on our part.

I was all stylin' in my bathing suit too.

Art  Tucson style.

I am going to stay away from the crazy for now--with our neighbors and such and just go into some jokes and such.   Enjoy!

A few daze back---three now it seems, it was Friday the 13th.
I am not superstitious at all, but on the same night was an amazing full moon.
If you did not get a chance to stare at it, you should have.
I work in a casino, so I thought all the crazy would come out--and it would be a really busy beyond interesting night.   It really wasn't much of either.

Father's Day Is Just Around The Corner

Hello all!   In case you have not gotten the memo, Fathers day is soon approaching.  I honestly do not think most people care, even those of us that actually strive to be great dads-not just sperm donars.  Think about it mothers do  so much---and they get a "holiday" during the school year when the kiddos can make something for them at work.   It is a huge day for your mother or your wife.  And unless you were hatched when you were born, you will not hear the end of it if you miss mother's day until you make up for it the following year.  Big time, mister!  I mean your mom did spend 13 months carrying her in your belly--and this *insert lame generic gift here* is the thanks you give me   for allll of that!??  AND mothers are great.   My mom runs the show in her household as does my wife in ours.  They know were everything is and how everything works.   Fathers day is just kind of a day were the dads can have another excuse to BBQ!  And maybe make sure they have a brew in each hand all day.  They can also spend the day realizing they will never be as kool or as loved as the momma-- and can visualize how full there wallets used to be before they had kiddos.  One can also finally pull out that cracked and un-used condom from your wallet that your dad gave you in Middle School.  After the third child is born --condoms might not be as effective any more.  I personally practice safe sex at home, by leaving the lights on.   ;)  I am in no way knocking being a father.  I love the title and take it very serious.   I am knocking the "holiday."

**"We are going to splurge tomorrow and buy an above ground pool--- And going to the lake on Tuesday. I soooo can't wait till the monsoons hit here!"**-------Pictures to come I am sure.   We are just happy to have found an actual lake close to here!   Several of my Exploring blogs have discussed how hard it is to find any water around here.   And the monsoon season is amazing!  Although our dog freaks out in the storms--and has to be outside in the mist of it.   The street in front of our house is paved and soon floods up to my knee height.    I have seen a lot of rain from living in Oregon and Washington for years, but it is usually a cold rain that chills you to the bone.   And the thrill of dancing in the rain disappears after about 2 days.   Although the rainy season there lasts about 4 months.   Here it basically gets so hot that God takes pity on the residents and it dumps down rain!  Better yet it is a kool  refreshing rain.   The dirt is so not used to rain or moisture of any kind that the water does not know were to go.

OK so Jess had her 13th birthday party on the 4th. First ---wow I am old. 2nd---I believe all of the girls ---Except the birthday girl cried about something during the party/sleep over. Does that make it a successful party or not?------I do not understand 13 year olds at all   especially the girl versions.  And I was a teen   once  long ago.

So I have been sharing a lot about my new job.  And  I love the job, but the 12-8 in the AM schedule is not really high on my list.  It seems lately that I always seems to feel like a Zombie if I am at work or not.   Last night I pulled $150 in tips---so that was defiantly a plus.  A hard feet on a normal shift---but really so on a grave yard.  If I do say so myself.

I in now way claim to be the smartest crayon in the box   but Dam I see stupider every day.
Even when I don't voyage to Wally World.

One of our dogs will even snag the top piece of bread on your sandwich.

This wasn't the magic school bus.

Cheers!

I don't care who you are   that's funny right there!
