An Attempt To Be Deep --For Once

G'day y'all!   I started this month off doing great at posting-on all of my sights.  Not so much now.    After three daze straight of rain here in the desert-very rare here, we still have mostly clouds today---so cool outside but no rain.  There was already a fire near here  so the rain was very welcome.   Especially with temps already in the 80's.   Last year was a very bad fire season ---state wide.   And it's starting to look like this year won't be much better.   Fingers crossed!  Very near here is an actual area of -usually running water.  It can cascade down the rocks, and I believe it will be running well right now.   I want to head up that way yet this afternoon-but not sure how motivated I am.    I have been here before---have an Exploring blog about it---We always take pictures when water is involved here in the desert!  ;)
Check it and all our picture filled Exploring posts out PLEASE

Tombstone

Where are you Exploring today??

A few  weeks ago I finally got some feed back on my Exploring blog page!    The couple really like the page----They are new to this area and like to check out and read about places locally, before they head out to visit.   The wife did bring up something I never have thought about----her husband is color blind and can not read the blocks I do in other colors beyond black.  I do this a lot---to make it stand out, and mainly because I like the color red----but will try to work on not changing colors to much in all my posts.

**"I learn from the mistakes of people that take my advice"**
**did you know you can't take a picture of your phone with your phone to show others??**

O the things you over hear at work.....

**If liberals don't believe in biological gender, than why are they marching for woman's rights??**---   Just sayin'       OK I have lots of issues with the woman's rights marches any way---but this is a fair question.   At least in my book.  So of course I got no answer when I asked this online.

**"Those of you that say I am hard to shop for---must have forgotten about coffee!??"**

So awhile back I came across a sale ad online for custom made Valentines displays---in the ad they printed---ASS delivery instead of AS-----with spellcheck and all I found this a really big mistake  and mentioned how image is everything -and if they did not have the time to check there posting, they probably would not find the time to check my order -before sending it out.   That's the whole jest of my post----the person fixed the error---mind you, than there whole family came down on me, including posting on my personal Facebook page---over and over and over again.    "this person posting was only 17 and just trying to earn there own money---was the main reply from them    and I was evil and a bully.   I have known about spell check and proof reading since I was 9 and age has nothing to do with this----this is a big mistake----I thought I had opened up a naughty web sight---ass delivery, that could have so many kinds of meanings.    Besides at 17 -if she can not take this kind of input on her own mistake---than high school must be a tear filled event daily, and they are raising a snowflake.   Plain and simple.   Than on my page    they started knocking my spelling----there is a huge difference between a personal page and a sale ad in spelling errors.  So of course in my replies to these fine people I just started spelling everything wrong.     I of course had lots of replies--we wont go into here, but than since all these fine people were now reading my page---I had this post up next. ..

Snowflakes don't take the blame for anything they do. Someone else is to blame. Just look at the recent government shutdown. I wrote down your order wrong, no way. You ordered the wrong food, Sir! I didn't understand laundry pods we're killers if ate. Sue Tide! Sue the Internets for making eating them a challenge! My kid can't do maths, blame the school. Take away evil numbers from math problems!... Please note, like many words, "snowflake" has multiple definitions. But don't blame me for that fact, especially if just your selfie picture comes up in your dictionary's definitions.

Ever been pushed to the point where you just want to drive and drive and contemplate the whole way if you wish to ever come back? But tax cash time is for road trips, right?! Anyways sitting here in my fake office in our garage lookin' at the stars, and maybe it's just the beer talkin' BUT I like beer! *Don't try to keep up -------Just another deep post of mine from about a week ago      When nothing seemed to be going right  at all.

Whats next---found coffee at Starbucks??

So a lot of things have happened since my last post here----including the puppies of my dog being born-----I will post pictures in my next post----I have lots of course.   ;)    Yet another school shooting just happened in Florida.    I keep saying more and more of these things are going to happen---but you know what-they happen everywhere.  I was just reading about an incident I had forgotten about back home---Sheridan Wyoming---one of the most laid back areas around---in 1993 were a man had flashbacks from his milartary days and started shooting in front of a school in Sheridan Wyoming.   This was before Colibine    and we soon after started practicing what to do if a shooter broke into school.    Each current incident everyone has a lot to say----but the following is the BEST input I have found yet!  By far!    It is a little long---but worth the read:

COLUMBINE STUDENT'S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER !!
Guess our national leaders didn't expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.
They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:
"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.
"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart.
"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death.
Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.
I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.
"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!
My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"
- Darrell Scott
Do what the media did not - - let the nation hear this man's speech. Please send this out to everyone you can.
God Bless

Coffee, Lecture, And Exploring!

**Yet another great blog post first published in my Exploring Arizona ---picture filled blog page.   Please check all the posts out!!
https://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/

I can not for the life of me recall what town this is in
But there are a lot of murals!

Well hello!   We have been busy Exploring and getting new pictures up the Wazoo --but I have been greatly slacking on getting new posts on this page!  In looking at my recent pictures I have noticed that several of my Exploring trips are quick -- around  errands, just to get out and enjoy the sun---coffee and a hike with our youngest  things like that.   These produce pictures and are fun, but might not warrant a full Exploring blog posting on there own.   Several of my last few trips were actually alternates after trying to visit the new museum in the area.   If you are heading from St David to Benson, just before Benson you may pass a sign by the side of the road that simply says "museum open!"    And it seems for two weeks straight now any time I see the sign   I am to busy to stop.   And on days like today, were I go to town specifically to stop --the sign is not up.   Some day I will have a full picture filled report from here!    But not today.    Several of the recent trips have been very locally, to places I have already been---like just recently to Tombstone again for a quick, mostly to get out of the house trip.   I did manage as always to get some new pictures   things I have not shot before  some how.   The same with a recent trip to the Benson museum.   A great trip--that I will be posting about soon, but I have been before.   Although it was years ago, and they now charge to go roam about inside.   I recently re posted an Exploring blog post from when we first moved to Benson in 2013.   Kind of a first thoughts of the area post.    It is very interesting to me to see how the area has changed ---how much our kiddos have grown---and how much at least my views have changed for this little town.

Tonight's post is from a few weeks back.   I learned that the local sub station for the college was having a free lecture on better picture taking.   Free coffee--free lecture about pictures, I was not missing this!   And after I left our car in the parking lot and had a walk about.   To practice what I had learned of course.   I had been to this area before with the kiddos---with a storm coming     so the sky was amazing in those pictures.   I have them posted on this sight---if you care to look back in my posts.   You know you do!

The Benson branch is kind of a substation.
With a few class rooms mainly for Internet classes.
It is a nice campus all be it small.
And this was the first of many free coffee lectures if anyone is interested.

Off the back patio.
You don't see these signs to much outside of the desert.

Local artist ---artwork on canvas he says he gets done at Costco but all the major retailers do such.   It almost comes out in a 3 -D effect with picture all around.   I had not ever thought of this idea before.   I have pictures from all over the country.  Pictures I used to think were much better, until I meet some real artists and saw there work.   ;)   I have some of my favorites blown up, and on our walls and of course many of them all over this sight and all of Facebook and had thought about doing postcards and greeting cards with my pictures on the front.   But before had never thought about showcasing them this way.  I will need to check into the costs of course.
All and all this was a good lecture---he teaches classes mainly for the Sierra Vista branch.   And there was coffee and cookies!   So it really could not get much better.   After it was all on sunshine outside again and I decided to leave our car in the parking lot and take off with my camera.   And use some of the advice he presented.   Two of the things that really stood out is that he said a lot of great pictures really is just dumb luck.   You are at the right place at the right time, and have a camera    any camera   or run and grab one.   The one true benefit to cell phone cams----like it or not   this is almost always with you.   He said he recalls the old 35 millimeter camera's and before---waiting for film to develop---getting only like 12 shots with the film  so missing a lot of good pictures to get those 12 glory shots.    Etc  and would never wish to go back to anything beyond digital again.   And he mentioned how he has very nice cameras     but is almost afraid to use them in the field   or anywhere.    So he gets way more pictures in volume with his every day camera's.  I can relate.   I borrowed a relatives super nice camera years ago.   One with lenses that cost more than our vehicles.   One that I could grab, take a shot, with the lens cap on, while I was running and still get an amazing shot.   But I was afraid to use the camera   let alone touch it.

Been housed inside this building since at least 2014 when I first saw it.
And this rock is about as tall as I.
With the gem show going on in Tucson I felt I should share this beauty.

Just up the road.
This is all college property whatever that means.

I have been here with the kiddos before years ago, but I do not recall it being fenced off at that time.   And as I said there was a storm a brewing in the sky on that day, so the pictures had some force to them.       You really should look them up on this very blog sight!!

Something we learned in the class
Go against what you have been told and shoot into the sun
But with something blocking most of the direct rays.

Just found the grouping of these cow pies on the trail odd.

Off the side of the road.

Back in the car and just up the road.
This leads into one of the huge local RV parks.

Almost across the street.
This restaurant has been closed since we moved into the area in 2013.
But it looks really neat!
I have waited tables off and on forever and this looks like it was a fun place to work.
I know before they roped off the parking lot, people used to dump nice furniture around this building.
On this same day I roamed around for a closer look.
Asking more about all this on some local links.
I also peeped in the windows and saw more than one light on
so wonder if it is still being used for offices or something.

Later that evening at our homestead.
With my cell phone.

I call these  fire in the ground fire in the sky!

Soon if not next I hope to publish more on my trip back home  to Wyoming and further!

As always

**HAPPY TRAILS!!**

Explore More

Good morning!    I would like to thank everyone for stopping by this very page again this fine day!   Enjoy your stay  no matter what brought you to this sight---be it searching for funny or porn.   A view is a view!   And this page has a lot of views!   Of course I have had this page for a long while also.  I know all the reasons that I enjoy this page---mainly because it is mine!   But I always have to stop and ponder why so many people stop by and read.   And especially why they stop by, pause from there porn viewing or random Google searches, read, laugh--I am sure!   And than move on    not leaving a comment or anything.   So many views -so few comments!   OK that is not near as catchy as my    So many trails   so little time!  I guess I should stop over thinking it -like most aspects of my life and just relish in the fact that so many of you DO stop by.   Especially considering that this is mainly just a coffee induced glorified journal for me.  ;)    Mmmmm coffee!

So I was just reading an article about two Canadian police who turned themselves in after accidentally eating pot infused food---A!  Funny and interesting read although I am still not sure how the pot was given to them.   I am not for or against weed in general.  It seems to have very few negatives as far as general use and most of the people that use it medically -greatly benefit on many levels.  I am not for or against weed---not saying I have not used mind altering drugs to produce many a blog post---Coffee and later in the day blogs get helped along by beer!   I have been in a few states that have now "legalized" it and the whole thing is a mess  on many levels.   California just realized all this--to add to there many woes as a state, many self inflicted it seems.  I put legalized in quotes above because it's legal at the state level- with restrictions, but not at the Federal level--on any level.  Because of tax dollars.  The whole war on drugs is messed up --beyond a real fix  but that's big government for you.    I have first hand been ripped off and affected by people using other drugs -over and over again and have a much harsher view on any of that use.  Speaking of the useless beyond profitable war on drugs, the above article also did not state what discipline the officers faced.   Although it was in Canada -A!    A whole new world from ours -starting with the niceness and politeness of the majority of the citizens.

Managed to get out on a short Exploring hike yesterday between running errands and fighting and  I must say it was super nice outside.  Like at least 80 in temperature.   I am pretty sure I got a slight sun tan the short time out.   Which is great because being inside much of the mid part of the day leaves me pale white -white, like Casper the ghost white   even while residing in Arizona.   The land of the sweating sun!

Please check out much more of our Exploring-----
My third and newest blog page is picture filled Exploring of
amazing Arizona.
Please check it out and share if you enjoy what you see

Two pictures from yesterdays outing that will hit my picture
filled Exploring Arizona blog page soon!
2nd picture is a shot of the huge stretch of closed rail road tracks that you can follow for miles
upon miles.

Snuck to the Benson museum the other day---a place I have not been for a very long time.
For reasons---I will fully explain on another day.
Of course I got some pictures!
Including the above
Where I am left to wonder why this highway patrol office is attempting to hitch hike??

And now one of my favorite sections!   My mostly stolin'  sometimes actually mine---Always agree with--deep and or non inspiring quotes!!    Check out past blog posts to collect them all.
