I Made The A Hole List!

Welcome back!   A few nights ago this very blog page hit 50,000 views!   And I am very thankful for that.   I hope that each post is a joy for you to read and puts a smile on your face.  At least until you read further and object to my thoughts.  Than that puts a smile on my face!  This page has been going on for years now, and some day one of the posts will actually have a point or something you can learn from.   But not today.   Keep on reading!    My Exploring blog page ---needs many more readers also.   Please take a look around as we Explore all around Arizona.  Full of pictures and trips.

Where are you Exploring today?? http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/

People never cease to amaze me.  Usually it is co workers who supposedly are trained.   Customers rarely surprise me any more.   Simply because of working at Wally World for so long.  Although sometime customers thoughts or questions make it into this page  because they actually do surprise or amuse me.  Today the amazement in thinking comes from an older gentlemen that grew up in Wyoming.  I had prevoulsy provided more respect simply because of were he grew up.  Today in an attempt to not vent to my wife or online  were the annoying party will see and become more annoying--I am going to vent or tell a quick story here.   Hopefully just the typing of it will calm me down a wee bit.
So months ago someone decided to take down some of our fencing while we were away from home.  And our puppies can jump right off the property and run all over hill and dale.   I finally got everything I need to fix it-hopefully  but only have limited time ---in the daylight, off work.   With my trip coming up   I wanted to get it fixed on my daze off this week.   We have been chaining up the dogs, but that's a pain for everyone and not fair to the dogs, especially when other dogs go by all the time not on chains.   It is a two person job, so I thought I had recruited a buddy of my wife's, even offered him decent wages for the 20 minutes of work.   It was also quickly decided that it was easier if he keep our newly released from the shop truck, at his house for the night, and than he would come out to help me early this morning.   We sat here and sat here   and held off plans in hopes that early still meant before noon.  Than he shows up about ten.   Early morning would have been better,  As of any time I had requested, since I was the one paying---but heck there was still plenty of time to get it done real quick.
He soon stated that he should have told me last night   but he just wasn't up to helping me out or gaining the paycheck it seemed.   Yes because---if he would of told me last night, I would not of left the Dam truck there.  But I could go back to my original plan of having our son help me out.   OK--but my wife and I have plans for the rest of today---and than I am back to work at noon tomorrow.  Not to mention ---why even drive out to our house --if you have no intention of doing the work?   When you knew we were coming to town that afternoon anyway?  None of this makes any sense  but it's not worth questioning at the time.  The only benefits went to him    cause the truck was with him all night long.   No thanks no sorry   no nothing.   I don't understand why so many people feel they are entitled to everything.  Like this free use to the vehicle for no work done or compensation    what so ever.
I could have done the work----but he lately lost his job  when the place closed down, and thought this quick cash could help.   Apparently living off unemployment pays better.   This isnt the first time   he has done me wrong in the sake of he is friends with my wife,  definitely not with me it seems.   But it will be  the last time anything like this happens to me.   Just sayin'
Thanks for letting me vent y'all!

Notice the female and male version of my name is on this list.
Woooooo!

I just wish Adam was on here too.
That would explain a lot.

True story.

For those of you keeping track
I fly home to Wyoming this Sunday night.
Mostly to visit family.

Fortune Favors The Bold

This very post brought to you buy our new coffee maker!   I made sure and set it all up last night--while I was still awake  because making coffee before you have had any coffee is not a fun task indeed!   Even though setting up the new coffee maker  mainly involved taking it out of a box and unwrapping multiple multiple times, I still figured it best to do this last night.  For sure.  One way or another we broke another coffee carafe the other day---several I have dropped while trying to achieve a higher awake level---while pouring my coffee.   This one did not bug me at the time, because I already had drank most of now shattered pot.  But it did bug me the very next day when all we could make was instant coffee.  God awful stuff ---in my eyes, almost as useless as decaff coffee.  Which ever found in your house, should instantly be thrown in the trash!   Just sayin'     Even at Wally World   were the store mostly thrives by selling cheap disposable crap to a disposable nation, I might have mentioned this fact before.   Even there ---it was two bucks more to buy a whole new coffee maker   than to buy a replacement  --even generic coffee carafe.   That's crazy talk right there!   Anyways we upgraded to a Mr Coffee brand maker this time around.  And yes---at least on day one  it makes coffee!     I might mention coffee a lot in my blog posts.   Like each and every blog.  But I think even I have typed the word coffee to much in this paragraph!  Last thought on the magical liquid real fast---I just saw and posted of a coffee mug that you add the creamer and all that jazz, if your not into black coffee--push a button on the handle, and the Dam thing stirs itself.   No really.  How lazy to we need to be at this point   that this is even a thing??   I mean coffee making is hard before we have had coffee   and I have stood behind people that take hrs mixing there coffee perfect like a Dam martini in many a coffee joint---but wow.   Kinda Kool but I have mastered this new invention called a spoon so will pass!   It is kind of neat   almost mesmerizing to watch the coffee stir itself.  Calming like watching a fish swim around.

Cheers!

Now a favorite of mine    some deep and non inspirational quotes for your day!    Find them in most of my blog posts.     Feel free to borrow them, most I have borrowed.   ;)

Reid Park Zoo--- Tucson AZ--Revisted

Where are you Exploring today?? http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/  First published in my Exploring Arizona blog page.  Please check out all the posts!

Hello all!   We have been very busy Exploring and getting pictures for this very sight.  And hopefully getting new readers.  But I have not really had time to update with new posts.  And for that I am sorry.  I have many new posts and pictures waiting to join this page!   Thank you for being patient.    Many of our pictures also make it to my longest running blog page first,   check it out at  www.wyomingjack.blogspot.com         At the end of this month I am taking a well needed extended vacation from work and heading home to Wyoming to visit family and friends -mostly family.  And than on to some other great sights to Explore.  Of course the pictures and journey will make it to this page   even though it is all well beyond amazing Arizona!   Please read through our past trips to this local amazing zoo!

About two weeks ago now, the kiddos had early release from school, every other Wednesday- and the wife and I decided to push back out date night a little bit, so that we could Explore the zoo.  Only our youngest was able to go along with me on this trip.  We have all been several times before and love this local zoo.  It has the best viewing of the animals and is not overly huge in size, like the Phoenix Zoo.   The price is also very reasonable and maybe best yet there are many attractions and food choices and such near the zoo.  Including the huge and very beautiful Reid Park--that is almost connected to the zoo.

On this day we went kind of late in the day, and after living here so long, I just kind of thought everything was used to the heat.   Even though I am not really fully used to the heat.  I guess this time of year the zoo closes at 3 PM---something to note if you are planning a visit.  We still had plenty of time to see the sights --but many of the animals were asleep inside and they were definitely all not as active as they might be in the early morning hours.  We did almost have the entire zoo to ourselves though.  With almost no visitors that late in the day--and an almost empty parking lot, allowed us to even park fully in the shade.   This part was amazing, but I think out next visit will find us at the zoo right after opening time in the morning.

Just chillin'

These fish will pull you in.

We need to borrow one of these ant eaters at our house
Just for a day!

With much fewer guests around I also had time to greatly enjoy the landscaping.

But not to much! ;)

One huge bird?

Took a break from enjoying the sprayers to view us.
Reid Park is full of little turtles.

These animals were mainly floating around in there own poo.
That was the only down side of this whole visit.

Some of the statues are almost as amazing as the animals.

Amazing carousal was not running on this day.
But I love this curious monkey!

Amazing place that I work at, event garden.

Each year before Christmas the casino takes over the zoo for one night, during zoo lights
and makes it a free event for workers and there family's.   One of my older posts on this very blog page is about that amazing night several years back.

Very Kool chair.

Peacocks roam the entire zoo.
Just down the road from our house in ST David there are also many to follow at the amazing monastery.   I have yet to get a picture of one with its feathers displayed.

Hello!

Where are you Exploring today??

Another great seat!

I hate snakes   seeing one on a hike could make my trip very short.
But this lil guy was just begging to get his picture shot.

What day is today folks....? Date day ---y'all are silly what were you thinking!? We are going to try something new tonight.

Another great statue!
Can you guess what we are viewing next?
The elephants have a huge section all there own.
With all kinds of interpretive learning displays.

Tiger toys.

But with the heat the tigers were very in active on this fine day.

Most of Tucson is under construction.
Even the zoo!

We could not escape the orange traffic cones even here.
As the monkey displays seem to be expanding!

We than spent some time at the joining park.
Cooled off a bit for sure.
My past zoo post show cases the amazing park even more.
On this day we hid some more painted rocks.
Something I have talked about briefly on here
But now that we are all into it more---will do a longer post
soon  hopefully explaining it all more.

As Always

**HAPPY TRAILS!!**
