4/30/2012---Yo yo!!

Hello all you peeps in reader land and beyond!   Just this page hit 30,000 views earlier in the week--so thank you all for that bit of great news!  For more updates and insanity please check out MY Facebook page   Exploring with Wyoming Jack/Bobble Head   That page is updated often, and with not working at the moment, maybe to often.  It is also the quickest way to contact me---and leave comments and death threats and such.   I know that with so many people checking out this page and my random rambling that usually tends to lead to grumbling-not everyone can agree with my thoughts.  Please feel free to say so at any time.

My newest Exploring page is also full of pictures and trips across wonderful Arizona.   Please check out the page, and help me find more readers for it also!   I believe my next Exploring post on that page will be from Tucson  mostly the downtown area.

                                                       Look at the happy couple!

Once upon a time we lived in Florence, AZ and they have such signs all over. They also house 4 or 5 prisons. Figuring if anyone did get loose--they would be straight out in the desert and screwed. Anyways, I always wanted to but some orange jump suits and jog the streets --to see what would happen.  But was never brave enough to test out that fun.  On a related note--the amazing Sheriff Joe or Arizona is talking about running for Governor.

                                                                       Mmmmm coffee!

The same could be said about beer.....
Although the last picture would be a drooling smiley face!

On a related topic--I can not believe the people they choose to run the registers at our local Wally World.  I worker for the company for eight long years, and realize how easy it is to be a cashier.   One really can talk to the customer as you quickly bag up there new belongings.  And be polite and at least fake friendly.  Yes I have a very good "Wally World smile--and yes it is VERY fake!   Most of the time only my wife can tell when the fake smile appears.  And at least the first few years of working there, I could do all of that with a mild to killer hangover too!  But holy cow---the same can not be said for most of the cashiers at this store.  If you ask them a question, while they are bagging---the bagging stops and many times I swear I see them start to drool while they are trying to form an answer to the question.  And if you ask them to actually -correctly count your change back, prepare to stand there awhile.  The local store is an extra bad store, and of course all of the locals love the store, because it saved this town in there eyes!  We kind of have excepted this fact, and I try to keep notes about it out of this blog page.  But it is MY blog page---and I guess it extra erks me, because I have soooo much experience --and the local company does not want me to work there.  I since applying have found a much betterer job, one were I will not quickly loose my sanity and my remaining hope for humanity.  But sill.  Plus when I thought I was getting hired back into the large box store giant, the manager explained to me how important great customer service was at this store.  I have yet to see it ever, and we have been in this area for just short of a year now.

**"Did you know that if you play the "I'm Happy!!" video with no sound --it makes one very depressed?? Also after the 4th time we heard the song today--it makes one very sad. On another note--Tucson pictures up soon.:**

Today's Exploring picture of the day comes from Bellingham, WA. This used to be painted on the back of a maintenance building off of State Street near the Welcome Mural. My guess is it is not around anymore. But whatever the case this picture always makes me smile.  And than seeing the bay right there made me even more happy.  I have soooo many pictures of the bay in case you have not gotten that memo.  But water of any kind seems to be overly calming for me....

And now a few updates for those of you that are actual regular readers.
Lupe's the restaurant I was protesting and having trouble getting paid from and that turned me off from working in Benson in general closed it's doors about a week ago!  It looks like I got my pay just in time.   Not to say the workers have stopped bugging me, but that may be mutual.  :)    Now if I could just get the Tucson store in trouble also.  I know many people thought all of this was a waste of time.  Including the others that never got fully paid in this area.  But I find it strangely satisfying and find myself driving past the store each day --increasingly happier each time I see them closed in the middle of the day.

So in case you have not gotten the memo---we have a restraining order as a family against my mother n law AKA The Devil, for many many reasons. We get a phone call a few daze back- from another family member informing us that the mother N law bought a house in the area, and if we ever needed a babysitter we could just leave the kids there. No contact really is hard to comprehend I guess. As in--when we get re-married next year in Vegas--we will have a bouncer/my best man--just to keep such people out. We are so serious in fact that the same bouncer will be at my wife's funeral. Thanks for playing!

Rain Or Shine This Blog Is A Good Time

**" Coffee helps you go poo!"**

**"A bonfire is basically just a Redneck nightclub!"**---My wife just got a yard fire pit--and because of the wind and her recent surgery we have not got a chance to use it yet.  We were using scrap wood in our big BBQ before this present.  I wanted to build a fire pit like hole in our yard, but something about gas lines and blowing up stopped me.

The only sign you are in a worse part of "the hood" is to see a cop car on cinder blocks.

**"Snap into a Slim Jim means something completely different at a gay bar...."**

**"Only half of the customers leave an abortion clinic alive."**----No matter what your thoughts are on abortion, those are the facts.  For more deep thoughts and quotes, please check my past blog posts.  Many even lead into the actual topic of the post!  Back in the day -of my first blog posts I actually sat down ahead of time and thought out what I was going to type about.  Not a problem I worry or stress over anymore-no worries.

**"There is a George Straight song- for all of life's problems."**
Today we were planning on going to the local county fair.  We have been to fairs across the country and it is always a great time.  But the wind is blowing 300 MPH give or take about 15 MPH.  And in the desert that means, that if you are not eating dust, you have your eyes full of it.  We thought maybe the storm would move on to New Mexico or the original Mexico by tonight and we could sneak off to the country music concert.  But it is now pouring in Tucson, were the fair is, and if it does not start raining here, I will eat my shorts.

Today's Exploring picture of the day again comes from Bellingham, WA. I am not sure if this bush really grows like this, or gets groomed. Down by the water front, which I love.   This area has an amazing water front.  And I have tons of pictures of the bay and beyond.  I really like to take them out now, since the main water we see in Arizona comes from the during the monsoon season.  .......

Homer Simpson would be proud or steal all the donuts!
Almost on the same topic---good times.
This brings us back to our first picture of the blog tonight.
What do the skeletons in your closet reveil?
Call me nuts   but I love this one!!
If you have not checked out any on MY Exploring pages or posts  you really need too.
OR check out MY Facebook page.
Full of random rambling for sure.
And it gets updated much more than these pages for sure.
This picture of Pooh is probably the worse/funniest thing I have seen this week!
To everyone in Facebook/Blogger Land and beyond it seems to be beer 30 at my house! A magical 6 hour time after all of that coffee. ;)  Cheers!!
If----NO, when the casino finally calls me back it will definitely be a Cheers night also.
Speaking of Cheers -the jury is still out in my mind if that was a good show, but it is now on Netflix.  Every long winded episode.

A Night Under The Big Top

**Yet another thrilling Exploring post first published in my newest page!!  Check them all out at  **

Hello all!  And cheers!!  Because I am of course starting this early morning out with some great coffee.  As always I want to thank you for finding this page and being a reader.  This is my newest page, and next month is all about promoting the page and getting more readers.  If you enjoy what you see here, please share this page!   In case you have not gotten the memo I have several other blog pages.   Another Exploring page, full of pictures and thoughts about our time living in beautiful Washington -is well worth a look or three at:   and of course my first and longest running blog page---full of random rambling, jokes, pictures, and lots of coffee love--can be viewed, and maybe enjoyed at      And lastly --mostly because I have to much free time, I also have a Facebook page full of stuff.  This is the fastest way to contact me-about anything you see on any of my pages --or to complain, and I always update the Facebook page before any other sight.  ;)  Exploring with Wyoming Jack/Bobble Head    Click on them all!    Now on to the big show.....

Last weekend we had planned to sneak away to the local fair, but those plans did not pan out.   We heard that the circus was coming to little ol Benson and thought that would be a great way to spend the night.   I have not been to a real circus in a long time, and the kids could say the same thing.   I say real circus, because while I lived in Oregon state the circus would come to town, minus all of the animals.  Oregon and all of the Great North West is a very special place, but with all of the hippies that have gathered in Oregon over the years, well lets just say they like to boycott things.  It was decided in the state at some point that people were not responsible enough to pump there own gas into there own cars.  So in the entire state, it is illegal to pump your own gas--a spill might get four drops of fuel into the nearby ocean.   I believe CT is the only other state in this great nation that also has this rule.  On the same note, at some point all of the hippies decided that circus acts were cruel to the animals who only work for applause and all the oats they can eat.  So although I am not sure how they protested this, you will not see ANY animals in an Oregon circus.  The residents really have become amazing at protests--and they practice a lot.

The clouds could not decide what they were doing on this day  so I was glad we were under a huge tent.
First the petting zoo outside the big top.
This is were the kiddos learned that the llamas will steal your food cups and all.
At least they did not learn, that they also enjoy spitting in peoples faces.
Elephant and camel rides could also be bought.
And several little kids rides circled the animals.
This crew defiantly knew what they were doing and how to push more sales through the entire show.   At one breaking point, they had all of the attending kids so enthused over buying bags of peanuts -with the chance to win a free circus balloon, that they were lined up around the sellers.
I can also say it the crew is amazing.  I have been saying for years now, that no one actually knows how to do there jobs.  From call centers, to retail workers.  Many jobs this isn't really a factor--you kind of go into a store figuring no one will know to much about any product.  But when your auto mechanic and cable guy also have no clue, there might be an issue.  These guys are on it--to the minute!   A crew of only four people set up and tear down the massive big top!  Maybe they should be used for company motivational videos.  And the next time some cashier explains how they can't handle all of the stress --I will inform them how quickly a circus worker would laugh at them.
A fat as@   at least that's what my wife kept saying.
Maybe she was pointing at me though.
My wife quickly fell in love with these kids.
And was sure she could fit them both in her purse.
The announcer for the evening.
I was very surprised at how many empty seats there were.
In the distance you can see all the empty VIP chairs.
I really hope the earlier show had a much better turn out.
This was all held at the local Arena Bar--a quick thank you to them again, for bringing in family entertainment.
I have several past posts from this great bar.  Check them all out--and than check out the bar!
The opening act.
Complete with a jazz playing group of animals.
Leaping poodles.
Easily the biggest hit of the night.
In enter the performing heroic horses
Yo yo!
These clowns danced there way through the slow parts of the show.
Just a swingin'!

This trapeze artist-sitting near the top of the big top, might well have the best seat in the house! These swingin' performers came from Circus Circus in Viva Las Vegas.
Thankfully there safety net was only needed for an exit strategy.
At one point 3 motorcycles were going at the same time in the steel ball dome of doom! I have never seen three ride at the same time before. And I would have to say that the hardest part really looked like stopping.
We have seen similar acts in Viva Las Vegas -BUT never with three riders at once.  It really was heart stopping.
At the end a huge American flag flew among the tents painted stars.
Beautiful but also amusing because none of the crew appeared to be Americans.
But how many of us are really native?
Possiably best of all--the show got over after 7 in the evening and it was not yet dark outside.
Last shot looking back at a truly terrific night.
I tried to capture the worker on top--working on tearing down the tent.  But he was to quick.
Arizona Easter Lilly!
Even the desert is full of blooms this time of year.
MANY new post, pictures, and features coming you way.
Including a post full of blooms.
Please continue to share this page.
