Geezers To Coffee

Three reasons to stand up:
1. To get the remote
2. To go to the bathroom
3. Because you're the real slim shady

**"When selling a vacuum cleaner is it helpful to say it really sucks?"**----
I recently posted this on a local buy/sell page  mainly to lighten the mood a little bit.
And because I have a vacuum to sell.
I also received many better ways to state the above.
When I worked at Wally World-I was presented with this "issue" many a day while working in the housewares department.   Because this could easily mean it cleans up very well, or it
does not work well at all and is a huge waste of money.
I guess the cliff notes are---although sucks is a very fun word to say
the less you say it around actual customers the better.

So last Sunday afternoon our oldest and I meet the local old geezer security crew for one of the RV parks.   We were walking the dogs in the middle of the desert.  And just past the open desert area we were in, is a  whole seating area complete with a very comfy bench.   Apparently --the 4 people in 2 golf carts that zoomed up to us were not the welcoming crew! Butch -our new pit bull kept them from getting to close, or to loud for that matter. According to the angry blue hairs--and the keep out signs--we were trespassing. I guess I should be glad they didn't have guns in there golf carts. The only things in the area are a comfy bench-a metal in ground BBQ-and a picnic table so I am not sure what they were protecting.  When the guy first asked why we were on the property--I said our dogs got loose and I was getting them--when they got uptight again--I asked if they wanted me to leave the dogs there... lol The dogs did not like the old people yelling. I tried to paint y'all a picture of it with my words, because I have no pictures of all of this.   I do believe one of the non welcoming comity would have slapped the camera out of my hands, if I had tried to take pictures.  They were mean.      On a side note--I am going to sneak back to the area next week and leave a can of Geritol, Metamucil, and prune juice on the table If I am extra sneaky and stealth--I can wait in the surrounding trees and get pictures of there reactions when they find the gifts!  Of course that would require there being actual trees here-beyond palm trees.  Do it all official like on National Geographic, when they are tracking animals.   So many snow birds come here--I could make a fortune filming such fun.  And than my youngest could jump out of the trees--yelling, "Kabozal!" or something.   He does that anyway.   Wait---no!   I am not giving any geezers mouth to mouth.    I know  --I know this is teaching the kids bad habits.  But they are already destined to be sarcastic pricks.  I did go over the importance of staying off of other peoples property--after this.   Especially in Arizona, were everyone has guns, and almost everyone is angry.

New word after Exploring our bank account.
Or someone that has already used Obamacare.

I have found this is much more productive than facing it towards the  TV.
But of course you have to have a liquor cabinet.

Wise indeed.
But I am sure all of the belongings inside the trailer are safe.
Wait were is the trailer!?

As I sit here drinking more coffee---I realize how many of my ideas come from coffee consumption.
And how many blog posts are a direct result of this.
Another way of saying, it is now time for my daily coffee plugs!

So many blog posts in the works!

August--Wahoo!!

My family comes back home tomorrow!   So the month is looking up already, for sure!  Last month was a crummy month on lots of aspects.  From annoying people to my birthday.   I am really working on being nicer to people and turning the other check.  But dam is that hard when you get wronged so hard and so bad, so many times.   My wife and I must have a sign on our backs, that says we make the perfect marks to rip off.  But whatever.  I am just  more than ready for my family to be back home.  And really hope that all the advanced security at the airports right now, does not cause them any problems.  Although it could also be amusing.

And most of them live on Facebook!!

**"So the crazy person that wrecked our car in June-forgot to tell us about it--and is making sure we pay for it just informed me that my wife deserved much better than me. Probably true but I think the true statement is that WE deserve better friends and family. Ones that don't bite the hand that feeds them, come around only when they need something, or that blow you off and treat you like crap after you travel miles to see them and pay lots of $ to see them be happy. So glad were outta Washington!! **Please note: SOME of you are great --and we thank you for always being their!!"**---My last few posts on Facebook for those of you that missed them.....

**"In keeping friends on FB, adding friends and such I am going by three lines of thought----1.) My wife's idea that one should keep there enemies very close to them. 2.) I wish many more views of MY FB page. And C.) You actually are a friend of mine! Good luck figuring out what one applies to you, my "friends!!"**-------That's not nice!

My wife and our kids did not get treated with anything close to respect on there trip back for a family members wedding.   This is not a big surprise considering the family members track record, but I had really hoped this would be different.   Although the plane rides were all paid for, we still spent a lot of cash for this trip.   I am keeping this vague, not out of respect for the others involved, that has been slowly disappearing.  But because even typing about it now, I am getting overly angered.   And I was not even on the trip.  Luckily other family members, did not sit idly by, and spoke there minds in our kids favor.   I have many times mentioned how much I enjoy this page, because I can still say whatever I feel like.   If you don't like what you see, stop coming to my blog page.   I have to watch what I say on Facebook a little more.  Little more are the key words.  ;)

This was yesterday   but Cheers anyway!

One of the local bars had Jam Fest all day today.
Many local bands
Vendors
and everything except the beverages was free.
I will have pictures and thoughts on this in a blog post very soon.
But here is what I posted on a lil sight called Facebook while at the event...

**"at Jamage Fest in Benson, AZ and this local "rappers"only groupies are like 60 years old! lol pictures to come, yo!"**-----Of course I will have a pictures of this also!

I use Craigslist all the time, in face I am picking up another great free item tomorrow form the sight.   But you have to also watch
out for scams and spammers at all times!

Just sayin'

I don't even have a comment.
This is very Very rare.

I would be rolling in the cash!
Cha-Ching!!

How do I git through it all you ask?
ASK!!

I don't let things get to me.
I find a joke in everything.
I love my wife and kids.
And....

Lots and lots of coffee!!

**"Do you add an area code first when dialing 911 here?"**

**"I still remember those days when photos were taken for memories and not for facebook profiles."**

This was proven at work.   Try it!  But you have to say "gullible" very slowly four times.   The person we tried it on, got to about the 3rd time and realized what she was saying.

Above is a picture stolin from Sheridan media.com    don't tell!    But it shows the beauty that we wake up to every day in Wyoming.  This is a little further down the road from me, just out of Buffalo, Wyoming.  It really is Gods country.  But it also really is freakin cold.  The sunsets here are truly amazing also.  I have so many great sunset pictures from my travels.  But many of them come from here.   I am shipping out of this great town and state very soon.   To enter into another huge chapter of my life.   Something I will write about much more in the future.   And know I will miss the views like this, the people, and my family here the most.

So while I was lived in the middle of the desert valley near Phoenix, Arizona about three years ago, it started to snow.   It even snowed in Vegas.  People panicked and I thought it was the end of the world for sure.  Much of Washington state goes into an all out panic with the smallest amount of snow.   The state received record breaking snowfall last week, but in many cases that is what we in the west see fall in a few hours.   One town, we will call it Bellingham, because that's the name of the town.   Got around three inches of snow early in the week.   Even with the snow stopping businesses and schools stayed closed.   The only place it made sense was in Seattle.   Were the entire city seems to be on a hill.  I have seen many videos of city buses sliding sideways down hills.  Bouncing off cars and curbs as they go.

A few winters ago this same town say a fluke winter storm , bringing about nine inches of snow.  I am pretty sure they had to bring in snow plows from other parts of the state.   One morning I found it easier to walk down the ruts in the middle of the street, the try and navigate the un-shoveled sidewalks.  No one was out driving anyway.   My fiances sister, would not leave the house, because she could not find the chains for her car.   I have never had chains on any vehicle.   I did have studded tires on a truck once, but I bought it that way, and it was spring time.   Although it makes a neat sound, going down the road, the police do not favor it to much for what it does to the roads.   Plus she drove a Geo, if she did happen to get her car stuck in the ditch, she could just pick it up, and place it back on the road.  They weigh about as much as a large Hot Wheel toy!   When I had my own car, and lived in the northwest, bosses usually told me to stay home.  They knew I was from Wyoming and could handle the driving, but feared someone crashing into me.

**"I have this urge to wear my Christmas tie to work tomorrow. And warn customers how many shopping days they have left till next year. Plus the Christmas tie makes me look way less Mormon!"**------I have mentioned before we wear white shirts and ties at work now.   And it makes me especially, look more than a little like a Mormon.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.   I always one to not look the norm, and leaving my current job soon, see me wearing the tie soon.

So I clicked on onna those stupid sight on Facebook that tells you which of your friends are following you the most.   From how often they view your pictures and comment on your thoughts and such.  This one was supposed to show me my top ten "followers"   and for whatever reason only showed my my top five.    Maybe this system is faulty.   Or I just need more friends?   The sight I really never want to visit, is an anti  Facebook sight.   Not sure of the name of it, but they want to let you know how much time you are wasting on FB, and get people off of FB.   Anyways, with a few clicks, it will tell you how many lifetime hours you have spent on Facebook.   Good God for some of us, it simply says!
