August--Wahoo!!

My family comes back home tomorrow!   So the month is looking up already, for sure!  Last month was a crummy month on lots of aspects.  From annoying people to my birthday.   I am really working on being nicer to people and turning the other check.  But dam is that hard when you get wronged so hard and so bad, so many times.   My wife and I must have a sign on our backs, that says we make the perfect marks to rip off.  But whatever.  I am just  more than ready for my family to be back home.  And really hope that all the advanced security at the airports right now, does not cause them any problems.  Although it could also be amusing.

And most of them live on Facebook!!

**"So the crazy person that wrecked our car in June-forgot to tell us about it--and is making sure we pay for it just informed me that my wife deserved much better than me. Probably true but I think the true statement is that WE deserve better friends and family. Ones that don't bite the hand that feeds them, come around only when they need something, or that blow you off and treat you like crap after you travel miles to see them and pay lots of $ to see them be happy. So glad were outta Washington!! **Please note: SOME of you are great --and we thank you for always being their!!"**---My last few posts on Facebook for those of you that missed them.....

**"In keeping friends on FB, adding friends and such I am going by three lines of thought----1.) My wife's idea that one should keep there enemies very close to them. 2.) I wish many more views of MY FB page. And C.) You actually are a friend of mine! Good luck figuring out what one applies to you, my "friends!!"**-------That's not nice!

My wife and our kids did not get treated with anything close to respect on there trip back for a family members wedding.   This is not a big surprise considering the family members track record, but I had really hoped this would be different.   Although the plane rides were all paid for, we still spent a lot of cash for this trip.   I am keeping this vague, not out of respect for the others involved, that has been slowly disappearing.  But because even typing about it now, I am getting overly angered.   And I was not even on the trip.  Luckily other family members, did not sit idly by, and spoke there minds in our kids favor.   I have many times mentioned how much I enjoy this page, because I can still say whatever I feel like.   If you don't like what you see, stop coming to my blog page.   I have to watch what I say on Facebook a little more.  Little more are the key words.  ;)

This was yesterday   but Cheers anyway!

One of the local bars had Jam Fest all day today.
Many local bands
Vendors
and everything except the beverages was free.
I will have pictures and thoughts on this in a blog post very soon.
But here is what I posted on a lil sight called Facebook while at the event...

**"at Jamage Fest in Benson, AZ and this local "rappers"only groupies are like 60 years old! lol pictures to come, yo!"**-----Of course I will have a pictures of this also!

I use Craigslist all the time, in face I am picking up another great free item tomorrow form the sight.   But you have to also watch
out for scams and spammers at all times!

Just sayin'

I don't even have a comment.
This is very Very rare.

I would be rolling in the cash!
Cha-Ching!!

How do I git through it all you ask?
ASK!!

I don't let things get to me.
I find a joke in everything.
I love my wife and kids.
And....

Lots and lots of coffee!!

End Of The Month And Money Blues.

                                                                   Watch out!

Just up the road in Benson, AZ
The light posts around Mc Donald's kind or ruin the picture.

So today my entire family --including my mother-n-law, took off for five daze.   This means several things.   For one, it will soon be way to quiet in the house---yes there is such a thing.   Although I am pet sitting for three extra dogs.   Very protective dogs, that like to bark  just to hear themselves bark it seems much of the time.  These dogs and our dog do not necessarily get along-at all!  So maybe it will not be so quiet in the house the next few daze.   This might all seem ridiculous to you single folk out there.  Or to anyone that is not still in love with there partner.   Way back when my wife and I first started dating, I was so used to sleeping alone, that having someone else in the bed took a long time to get used to.   A long time for me.   The kiddos were all young enough at that time, that I usually woke up to a full bed by morning.   After almost eight years of being together--- I am now so used to having someone else in the bed, that I sleep like poo, when she is not there.   This includes trips, or when I am in the dog house, and one of us is sleeping on the couch.

Actual bush in Bellingham, WA

I may find myself talking to my morning coffee a lot this week.
Good thing no one else is in the house to mock me.

I am highly jealous because I only have A cup manly breasticles.
And because I have been a server before, and had to use an actual tray to deliver food items.

Good or really bad slogan?

This all also means that I will be attempting to post in my blogs much more!   The jury is still out --if this is a good thing, for you, the reader. ;)    Including the start of my 3rd blog series!!   Sure to be great or annoy greatly!    Please do not forget to also check out MY Facebook page at:

Exploring with Wyoming Jack/Bobble Head

Everything hits this page before it goes into any of my blogs.   If you enjoy what you see on any of these sights, please pass on the links!      My Facebook page is full of jokes, coffee love, Exploring, my pictures, and random rambling.   Take a look today.    OK   enough shameless self promotion.   Now on to some items that are possibly amusing to people besides myself.   But as always, as long as I am happy----screw y'al  y'all!

                                                    Any takers on that bet!??

                                                                      Just sayin'

Although if you wish to band together and make my Facebook page an Internet sensation.......

                                                                 Good ol Dav!!

Friday Or Monday.com!? & Weapon Control Rants

I have read lovely posts all over Facebook this morning about how much betterer coffee tastes on a Friday morning.   Un- like much of the work force, my work week starts on or near the weekends.  And in a place were I thrive on tips, this is a highly sought after shift to have.  One can easily make a bill + on any given Friday or Saturday night.  ** A bill is equal to $100**  And  this can be accomplished in a short amount of time.   I recently have started working 11-11 on Mondays.   And was at first happy to go home with a bill in tips, until I started doing the math in my head.  Of course money is money, and I make a hourly wage, of sorts also, but that is a long time to only pocket that amount of cash.
I have had weekends off, and although it is great for spending time with the kiddos.   Something I do not do nearly enough of with my current work schedule.   It is terrible if I want to accomplish anything quickly.   Because most of the working and non working drones are also off on the weekends.  Making everything from shopping to going on a hike, much more people-filled and or stress-filled than  it should be.  At least when I have days off in the middle of the week, far less people are out and about.
A very bright side to all of this rambling, is that today happens to be one of the rare and far in between days that Starbucks is offering free coffee!  Things always taste better when they are free.   And with the volume of Starbucks shops in any given city, you can get a free brew all over town.  Even if it is a small coffee, after enough of them, one might be ready to just leave there car in the parking lot, and run home.  Today's free coffee is in honor of the 30th anniversary of there Pike blend in case any of you were wondering, or did not get the memo.   The 100% off sale only goes until noon, so since I have been slacking on today's post will probably be over by the time you read all of this rambling and git yourself to a coffee house.  Unless you are lucky enough to live above a coffee house.   I believe this would be amazing, and ten times better than living over a bar.   Perhaps the worst part about coffee is waiting for the coffee to brew.   Problem solved if you lived above a coffee shop.   Although I believe this would be incredibly hard on my pocket book.

I am very pleased  to report that this very blog page has hit 14,000 views!   Thank you all for this.   Please while you are reading the pages, trying to figure out what the heck I am talking about, leave me comments!  I especially love negative comments and hate mail. ;)  And don't forget to check out my 2nd blog series full of my local exploring and pictures at:
http://exploreb-ham.blogspot.com/

When we move---this page will still exist, but become a launching point for my 3rd blog page.  All about exploring Arizona.  I hope a few of you become followers!   My next exploring blog is going to be about cemetery's.  Strangely calming places to roam.   I also have a big post coming up, that links all of my exploring blogs from both sights, in a easy way.

I miss having local news on our TV at home.  But have noticed none of the
stories have been positive at all.   The least I can do is make jokes about it all.

I enjoy almost every type of music.  But I also grew up in Wyoming, so this follows my tastes many a day.

If this is not how you filled in your taxes ---- you are getting audited.
This is a sneak peak at next years official tax form.   Thanks Mr president.

Idea for when we purchase and remodel our new home. ;)

**"I saw a movie once were only the police and government had guns, it was called "Schindler's List."**

And now I must vent for a minute or six.    I have many issues at the moment.  But most of these deal with family members, and after much free coffee, have decided that this is not the best way to bring them up.   Maybe on Facebook?  I also have a whole blog post in the works, about gun control---but not today.   **Please note--in the works means I have been thinking about it for over a week now!**     I grew up in Wyoming, were everyone has a gun or six.  If there is a no trespassing sign, they have a gun to back it up.   The likely hood of being caught on private land is slim, but you think twice before sneaking onto any ones property.  But most ranchers and such have there guns to protect there livestock and lively hood from predators.  With all of those guns, gun related crime is almost 0.  We are moving to Arizona soon, and I can not wait, because the above is also true about that state.  We will have a gun in our house, but mostly because I like to hike, and I want an effective way to fight back, if I come over a ridge and surprise a rattle snake.   Turning pale white, and screaming like a girl, is entertaining for my hike partners, but not effective.  Unless the partners deep laughter scares off the snake.  I am deathly afraid of snakes--or sticks, garden hoses that resemble snakes.
Back to my grumbling, The west coast seems to be deathly afraid of guns.  Here plenty of places sell guns, but it is almost impossible to buy bullets.  I do not know about you, but I can not throw my gun hard enough at anyone to hurt them.  It will just annoy the attacker more.  Blah blah blah---anything can be used as a weapon.   Yesterday my wife and I went to a retail store and I found a sling shot for cheap.   I had a sling shot growing up, and it was hours of fun.  Plus I was surrounded by dirt roads, so I had an endless supply of ammo.  I do not recall shooting any people with it, and felt so bad about the lone bird I injured --that I never shot at anything alive again.  Or at least waited a week for that.  Anyways, I thought it would be great fun for when we moved to the desert.   I was very surprised to read the package for this and only see two safety warnings.  Our new food dehrator has approximately 88 safety warnings.   But was amused that each instructional picture of the person using a sling shot, had eye safety goggles on.
Anyways, when we got up to the check out--the cashier demanded to see my ID---really  I am almost 35.   When I at first refused, he went on a mini power trip, held the item behind his back, and again asked for my ID.  This is the point were I should have left the item with him and walked off.  I used to be a cashier, and had to card everyone for booze, but I was always nice about it.   Even telling people that were obviously well into the drinking age, that I wasn't sure they were old enough to buy beer.  The cashier than stated how he had to check for any weapon.   Growing up I was un-aware at what power I held with my sling shot.   Probably because I was raised to respect it.   Before I got my first Daisy BB gun, I had to read the entire manual, with a pop quiz, and take a hunter/gun safety class.  My wife kept me from causing a scene at the registers.  Her and the mere fact that I really wanted to use the sling shot.  I was not aware what a weapon I was buying, and promptly hid it in the trunk of our car, cause after all of that "fun" Lord help us if I got pulled over on the way home.   And a cop saw the un-opened sling shot with in arm length reach.
Long story short---this area has beyond lost it on this topic.  I could do more personal damage with our laptop.   It is beyond heavy and bulky.  And by the warnings on our food dehratror I could do more damage to someone with that than with the scary sling shot/weapon.  Give me a break!     Arizona life can not come soon enough.   I think I will celebrate the move by buying a gun rack for our pickup.   And a separate rack under the gun rack to house my sling shot.

Thompson Square - Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not

Now that my wife and I have settled down and got married after seven short years of dating.  Well at least we got married, I don't know about the settling down part, we decided it was time for us to have a new song.  Our song used to be 50 Cents--- "B*tch get in my car"   Every time we take a road trip as a family in our car, the above song comes on the radio.  And after really listening to it a few times, we have decided it should be our new song.   It fits the beginning of our relationship very well.   And will sound better when we tell others what our song is.  No one ever guessed what our other song was for sure!   Among a pile of blog posts to come, I am also working on a post that is just songs that fit around a story about the two of us.  This will be one of the first songs on the list.

Thankfully mine came back.

If nothing else we have defiantly learned that you can not live on love alone.   Dam landlords will not take Monopoly money or food stamps to cover rent.

I am not even sure how this ad is going.   Or what it is talking about.   But you can use Pay Pal to make payments on your divorce!

I hope everyone out there in reader land, had a great weeksend.  I know we did.  We took a great train ride on Saturday.

This is one of the lanterns hanging off the side of the train.   Many more pictures to come.

And will be posting much more about that very soon.   I have been working on catching up on exploring blogs.  I hope y'all enjoy reading them even half as much as I enjoyed the exploring and than telling about them.

Have I mentioned lately that I enjoy a great cup of coffee??   Almost every blog post, you say?

I hope you also "like" my posts!

I will get back to you -with the answer to this.
If you find yourself talking to me, and than suddenly chocking on a breath mint  ummmm sorry.

How come Allstate never uses this in one of there lame commercials?

I need to teach our dog this next!
Right now I rejoice with the poop bags we found that clip onto his leash.

Earlier in the week we had some rare thunder storms.   Rain is not rare in the Great North West.  But thunder and lighting is.  And it was some loud storms!   Our dog did not take the storms well.   And he tried to hide under our computer desk, while we were using the desk.
I did not take the following pictures, and am not even sure the 2nd one is real, but I think they are super kool!
