     I hope that all of my readers had a joy and family filled Christmas.  And that they had an enjoyable but safe New Years Eve.  I know those two words do not usually make for a super fun night--but we were struggling to stay up until 12 -noon this year, and may have officially become old fuddie dudies with an impasise on the dud!   I will let you know for sure next year.   Although it was great to just stay at home--no really it was.   I/we have enjoyed some great New Years Eves---one that sticks out, always was years ago in Portland, Oregon.   Riots and getting pepper sprayed seemed to be the highlights of the crazy night.  So calm and safe with my great family was very nice.   I hope that many of you at least attempted new resolutions and have made it past this first week in January at striving for them.   I would vow to drink more coffee, but I am not sure that is even possible. 

    I pretty much stopped all coffee consumption in the mornings for awhile-and although I was fine with this-although very jittery and with a constant throbbing headache.   Those around me, especially my wife, decided for me that I should never skip my morning coffee again!

      The same some-what goes for phone calls.   I say  some-what  because I never call anyone anyway.   Maybe because I left a lot of people back in 2012!   And maybe because most people can not actually see my friends.  I have found out through the years that I had way to many fake friends.   Although having one good friend again would be nice.   *sad face*

    Many resolutions revolve around money but the above greatly applies to us, so unless all of my readers would like to resolve to send me there extra cash --we will remain broke.   We are in the process of switching banks.  And the bank we were switching to can't seem to get us actual bank cards so we can use our money.  So we will soon be switching away from them also.   Moral of this story--use your bed mattress to store all cash.    And that we now have three different banks, with very little money in any of the accounts.  

                                                        That's funny right there---I don't care who you are. 

   We have several super fast dogs and kiddos.   So good luck eating anything off the floor if you come over to visit. 
Good luck finding a floor you would want to eat off of either.   I used to be super picky about what I ate.   And than I moved out of my parents house and had to create my own meals.   My restaurant ordering and microwave warming skills became great though!   Than I got married to a wonderful cook---who keeps me out of the kitchen at all costs.   Although she does let me BBQ--even if it is a blizzard outside.  With three kids and two dogs running around the house and often random people that just seem to eat here and sleep on the couch, it is often hard to find a full meal.  Even after one has just been cooked.   One of our dogs won't even wait for food to drop anymore, if you turn your head to long, he will just snatch things like the top slice of bread from your sandwich.   With this I have become less picky.   Drops on the floor or dirt--and I am the first to grab it, its mine!   Kids lick something thinking I wont eat it.   Ha!  I am immune to spit germs.   I hope some of you reading this are also married and relate to my random rambling.  I hope that those of you that don't get it or are single, are reading this as you sit down for your morning coffee and breakfast. 

   My next Exploring blog post takes us back to Tombstone, were we always have a blast!    My sister was in town for a few days and we needed a great place to Explore.

My Page-Is A Page!

  Even though the great monsoon season is over here in the desert--- it does not mean the rain is over.  We cut our Exploring short on Sunday afternoon when these clouds started to move in.   It did not rain that day-but I got a chance to snap some kool cloud pictures.  These clouds just look angry!   And I almost had enough time out, to wear out our new dog and the two boys.   Benson, Arizona residents---any guesses where we were out Exploring this fine day??   Here is one more picture to help you guess.

I am    Taking all three kiddos to the dentist this afternoon----so we might need a calming local trail adventure after that "fun!"

      **"So I went on my first official job interview here today---- I was offered a job, but not the one I applied for, so I declined it. You don't know how good it feels to be the one saying no for a change! It does put me in a spot though, because I had told my self if I had gotten the job--I was drinkin' adult beverages....... **Thank you to  my wife for being my "sugar momma" --so I can be picky about were I work. lol"**------ I have to add here, not on Facebook, that the restaurant manager was a prick.  I pride myself in being one, but two pricks never get along well.  Even though I had a scheduled interview, I had to wait 45 minutes, to than be ignored by the manager longer.   He instantly told me all serving positions were full, the only position I had applied for/and been called about.   He is going to keep my resume on file if any of the three new hires do not make the cut.   This gives me plenty of time to decide if I can work for this person.  It is a really nice restaurant, and playing busser would be a good foot in the door, but the place is 45 miles one way for me to drive, so I need the tips to make it worth my while.   I also believe after serious pondering, that I will have a drink tonight anyway, since I did officially get the job.   I just did not keep it.  

     All of this is even better after how hard a run I have had in other locations finding a job at all.  I have had to beg for jobs at Taco Bell, only to be rejected.  As I said this is one of the first and only places I have interviewed at.   I have been doing odd jobs--helping people move, hauling things, and such--and the money is very good, when I can line up jobs.   When the customers can pay with more than smiles.   I have had many a call for people that want to pay a ridiculously low amount, or do not even have any money.  
     I do believe the worse part of today- is that I have my interview clothes on, and have passed some awesome hills and trails in the heart of the massive Sierra Vista/Hereford trail system.   But now I know were to start as soon as I and the kiddos have time to venture out, hiking clothes on, and camera in hand.  Also  almost as bad, my interview clothes include black dress pants.   Although it has been in the 40's every morning lately, this is the desert--and it soon gets much warmer.  
       On a some what related note----no only because the subject of the note is my wife....
  She had her orientation for her new job yesterday in the big city of Tucson.  The job she starts, from home, on Monday.   Un officially making her my sugar momma, as I mentioned above.   Anyways, the orientation was most of the day yesterday, and started very early.   It was highlighted for me after I snuck into the hosting motels lobby and got a great free breakfast.   So wrong, but boy it tasted good.  Plus free things always taste MUCH betterer!    I than had a good part of the day to roam around Tucson.  Always fun except for maybe the crummy traffic.   Thankfully it is nothing like Seattle or the much closer Phoenix.   A town I could never drive in again, and drive happy.  Yesterdays blog post was typed in Tucson.  Today's comes clear from the Target lobby in Sierra Vista.  Plus it is always nice to be around some real shopping.  I am again in a town were one can pretty much not buy anything.   And Wally World and Safeway are the only shopping choices.   I do not necessarily like shopping at all, but I do like choices.

      I used to add such deep quotes to every one of my blog posts.  But have been straying from this for awhile now.  Once upon a time, most of the quotes even followed with the theme of that days blog post.  But lately, my blogs do not really even have a theme.  I see this again being the case tonight.  Mostly because it is almost 1 A.M. I had hopes of writing this much earlier, but than the next thing I knew it was time to go to work, and than after work, the power went out at our house.  Right in the middle of my favorite TV show of course.  We have more candles than any one family should, so lit up the house, and my wife and I proceeded to make out to pass the time.  So primitive, I know, but one does what they have to when they love there partner, and there is no TV ;)   To see some great quotes, and examples of blogs that were actually deep, please roam through some of my old postings, or easier yet, go to any other persons blog sight!  

  

  
  

  
  

  
  

        The other day we had to take our dog to the vet.  And beyond paying out a lot of cash, we learned that it is time to find a new vet.  We took the great dog, after it's owners moved into an apartment that would not allow the dog.  So we thought he should go to the vet he was used to.  Apparently he is not used to his vet, because he mainly just wanted to eat his vet.  We have never seen him act anything like this towards any other person.  Ever.  At one point I was massaging the dogs head, while the vet tech and the vet layed on him, while he had a muzzle on, and he was very willing to bite the vet.  He was in pain, and at one point came from abusive owners, but right after this ordeal, that I managed to witness without laughing once--I am proud to say.  Although I can say I can not explain the episode to others with out laughing.  Later though--I had no trouble touching our dog in any of his sore spots, so it makes us wander more than a little bit about ever taking him back to this vet.   Dogs are very perceptive about people---although this may not be true, since all dogs seem to love me!  

  

  
  

  
  

        So last month I rambled on a little bit about a man who robbed the local Banner Bank in Fairhaven.  I still find it amazing that anyone can rob a bank and get away with it in this day and age.  And this guy got away on a bicycle.  Anyways, last Tuesday the same man hit the same bank, and again got away on a bike!   Did they not beef up security?  If you have your cash at this bank, maybe you should consider some were safer, like your bed mattress.  And all of this makes me start to really think I should buy a new bike!

  In going with my theme of talking about coffee in some way in most of my blogs.  Here we go again.  Actually in my next exploring blog, I am going to be complaining about some of the local coffee joints. 

  But today I must share about AM/PM coffee.   They have a ton of great choices, for a get in get out type of place.  They also have a great punch card program--it only takes buying 3 drinks--coffee, pop, any fountain drink, and your 4th drink is free.  On Tuesdays it is double punch day, by the way.  

  For how popular places like Starbucks are, how often do they give you free coffee??

  1. Here here! Neither is being fat! Every time we go to Wally World, all the electric carts are full of biguns--not old people. I have a whole blog in the works about all of this. But basically if you can sit on the curb in the sun, and make your own gravy, while sweating---you might want to go on a diet!!

       OK I have to ask, what is going on with gas prices?   Summer is almost over, and the local fairs are all gone.  Which is why I thought gas was going so high last week.  Plus I swear I just heard on the news about a new country were they found gas all over the place.  What the heck!
