   **"Both Super bowl teams are from the only two states were weed is legal-----coincidence? Suuuure Seahawks, wait till we move across the nation to win WTF!??"**----I sure hope they have more than enough munchies to cover this super bowl indeed. 


   **"So last night, my wife allowed me to go on top......
          I love bunk beds!"**

                         **"Coffee fuels my sarcasm, what fuels your stupidity??"**

      

        So this week through the 26th --The grease pit, AKA MC Donald's  is offering free small coffee!   Yes it is only the small size, but you can not beat the price.  Plus they offer free re-fills all the time, so even better.  I strongly believe everything tastes better, if someone else is footing the bill.   So today's random rambling comes from the local Mc F*cks.  With free Wi-Fi and coffee, I actually am almost lovin' it.  If you live in a large enough town, as in not here--and do not feel like trying for free refills all day, you can go from Mc restaurant to restaurant getting free coffee all the way.  Almost like an adventure.   

 

 

 

     The main thing bugging me just a little bit on todays trip here---besides the fact that this towns best place to use Wi-Fi starts with a MC, is that everyone here is connected, but not really.  Not that they are all related to each other, something that could also be true, but that's for another blog post, one for just before we move out of this area.  But on the computer, on there phone --etc.   I am also guilty of this --finding myself on Facebook, much more than I wish to be.   As I walked in I spotted a couple in the corner --both sitting side by side, holding hands, clicking with there mouse with the other hand, both on separate laptops.   My wife and I are guilty of this, we sit across the room at home, or house and send each other dumb jokes and such.   Any time you go to a function, I believe it is ruined by all the people running around with cell phones glued to there ears either trying to figure out were at the event there buddies are.   Kind of like a cheating/un fun version of playing were's Waldo or Marco-Polo, while Exploring.  Although you are mostly missing the fun.  The other phone users seem to be explaining everything that is going on, to the person on the other end of the phone.   Someone that always appears to be very interested in deep, loud descriptions, or is newly blind.   I would  like to slowly cut back my usage of all such devices, but am sitting here typing this blog while happily guzzling free coffee-so sue me.  But please wait until I get off my cell phone to start the court process. 

    **Just got a phone call from my long lost best buddy--Professor Getty Many of you know him as Mark Hyde he will also be my best man when April & I renew our vows next year. I smell a road trip coming up! Happy day **-----
        So I have had this crazy friend for years---- we have worked together, and been on many a hike, that was far from a good idea.   About a year and a half ago-he came to visit my wife and I in Washington.   Her and I were going through a huge drawn out fight---and Mr Getty found it safer to stay at a motel instead of at our house.   I have not heard from him since.   Last we had heard he was in San Diego, a place I had never been, and with taxes I was planning an Exploring/ wheres Waldo type of trip.   Last night--I found his long held e mail address and gave him our phone number.   And low and behold he called me during his break from work.    Luckily too, because he no longer lives in San Diego.   We found out his current location may be short lived, but is even closer to our new home.  And an inexpensive, short-ish Amtrak ride from here.   So I will hopefully have a new picture filled adventure to share.  He is talking about moving back up to Washington state.  A place that has drawn me 4 separate times, and him multiple times.   Plus further proof that any friends and family of mine, spend our time in an endless loop circuling the globe --- cross country from each other.   Pausing to meet up every few years. 

  

     

 

 

 

Today we are going to celebrate the kiddos having no school-by going on an Exploring hike.

So I will have new pictures and such to share very soon.

Proof it gets cold in Arizona.    Kingman, AZ---we got reduced rent because the heater was not hooked up--and froze our butts off.   This was the same year we saw it snow in Las Vegas and thought the end of the world was coming!  

This is actually today's picture of the day--too!

If you do not know were Kingman is,

You should keep it that way!

This was at least five years ago.   And although Kingman is still ranked

the worse place I have ever lived in my very boring book--we still had some great times there. 

I can not tell you about most of them, because I have blocked them out of my memory banks!

But we have loads of pictures to remind us of the best times. 

My wife and I looked at many of them last night.

And marveled at how many great times there really were.

We also marveled at how many pictures we had. 

And mostly at how small the kiddos used to be. 

And how small my belly used to be!

Welcome To 2014, Yo!

     I hope that all of my readers had a joy and family filled Christmas.  And that they had an enjoyable but safe New Years Eve.  I know those two words do not usually make for a super fun night--but we were struggling to stay up until 12 -noon this year, and may have officially become old fuddie dudies with an impasise on the dud!   I will let you know for sure next year.   Although it was great to just stay at home--no really it was.   I/we have enjoyed some great New Years Eves---one that sticks out, always was years ago in Portland, Oregon.   Riots and getting pepper sprayed seemed to be the highlights of the crazy night.  So calm and safe with my great family was very nice.   I hope that many of you at least attempted new resolutions and have made it past this first week in January at striving for them.   I would vow to drink more coffee, but I am not sure that is even possible. 

    I pretty much stopped all coffee consumption in the mornings for awhile-and although I was fine with this-although very jittery and with a constant throbbing headache.   Those around me, especially my wife, decided for me that I should never skip my morning coffee again!

      The same some-what goes for phone calls.   I say  some-what  because I never call anyone anyway.   Maybe because I left a lot of people back in 2012!   And maybe because most people can not actually see my friends.  I have found out through the years that I had way to many fake friends.   Although having one good friend again would be nice.   *sad face* 

                                                              I found Waldo!!     Give me a cookie







    Many resolutions revolve around money but the above greatly applies to us, so unless all of my readers would like to resolve to send me there extra cash --we will remain broke.   We are in the process of switching banks.  And the bank we were switching to can't seem to get us actual bank cards so we can use our money.  So we will soon be switching away from them also.   Moral of this story--use your bed mattress to store all cash.    And that we now have three different banks, with very little money in any of the accounts.  

                                                        That's funny right there---I don't care who you are. 

   We have several super fast dogs and kiddos.   So good luck eating anything off the floor if you come over to visit. 
Good luck finding a floor you would want to eat off of either.   I used to be super picky about what I ate.   And than I moved out of my parents house and had to create my own meals.   My restaurant ordering and microwave warming skills became great though!   Than I got married to a wonderful cook---who keeps me out of the kitchen at all costs.   Although she does let me BBQ--even if it is a blizzard outside.  With three kids and two dogs running around the house and often random people that just seem to eat here and sleep on the couch, it is often hard to find a full meal.  Even after one has just been cooked.   One of our dogs won't even wait for food to drop anymore, if you turn your head to long, he will just snatch things like the top slice of bread from your sandwich.   With this I have become less picky.   Drops on the floor or dirt--and I am the first to grab it, its mine!   Kids lick something thinking I wont eat it.   Ha!  I am immune to spit germs.   I hope some of you reading this are also married and relate to my random rambling.  I hope that those of you that don't get it or are single, are reading this as you sit down for your morning coffee and breakfast. 

   My next Exploring blog post takes us back to Tombstone, were we always have a blast!    My sister was in town for a few days and we needed a great place to Explore.

November Is For Eating!

Entire painted wall I found while roaming/working in Sierra Vista last week. 

I made good money and love setting my own hours for sure--but ended up in the town 4 times last week.  To much driving!

 

 

                        I also found this in S Vista.   Behind the Sonic off Fry Street-- while I was lost. 
    And yes this shake is high!   He is not just saying hello.  Two quick notes on this--- First my wife and I recently ate at a Sonic in Tucson, and I found it way to expensive for the crummy food.  The main highlight of the visit, was feeding the many pigeons in the outside eating area.   And of course filling our tummy's!  And B--- our GPS has issues with this town in general--mainly finding it fun to get us lost, but only in S Vista.  I don't know if there are to many radars and such coming of the Army base and airport or what.  Our GPS also has a speech impediment of sorts.   Anyway, every time we are to take Fry Street---it sounds like the GPS is calling it Ferry Street.  As many times I might be the only one finding this error and the above picture amusing.  But as long as I am happy--right!?
I hope to have some good Exploring posts from Sierra Vista up soon!   My newest page has 22 posts now and 700 views!   As you may or may not of read a few posts back, when I finally did have time to hike in the area---I lost our camera.   But we have a new one now---so new pictures and posts are in the works!   I would show you a picture here, of our new camera  but that is an amazingly hard shot to get.  I can say that it is pink.  Very pink.   But it does bring out my eyes!   My wife loves it, because it was cheap---so she knows that when I finally break down and get a betterer more hi-tech version, she will get the purdy pink one.

Speaking of beverages......

 

 

 

I always enjoy a helpful sign!

 

  Speaking of beverages I enjoy a brew or two --rarely. 

I used to crave booze much more--

But having two full fledged alcholics living with us ---was a great impulse for me to stick with

the all essential caffeine products!

Seeing all of the beer cans--every were

and how all important getting the booze was to them--even if they could not pay any bills or even buy gas was also a factor. 

It also of course affected there motivation--- work--Y work--there is beer to be drank and it is hot in the dam desert!

And of course if they went to harder alchol, it was time to git away from them. 

All of this makes it even rarer for me to want a drink even a few, let alone drink like a fish.

Although ALL of the beer cans were nice to take into recycling!

 

 

That said---I love Fat Tire beer

It is not a cheap brew--so it doesn't make it into our house very often.

Now the brewers have there winter brew out--Accumulation 

and I keep hearing how great it is.  

Any thoughts from Y'all on the taste--on any of this--- and or on peer pressure?

We have been battling for almost 3 months now to get paid for a months worth of baby sitting my wife did.

It has mostly been an up hill battle for us.

But a few weeks back--we thought we could finally see the pay day near the finish line.

Thought is the key word here.

We were taking the deadbeats to court---and to stop this they hired a lawyer from the Army base.

On the first day they were supposed to pay us, the family forgot to bring there checkbook

the next day-- they paid us with a check that was post dated. 

We did not notice this when we deposited it, and the bank has now put a hold on the check and than decided to charge us because the dead beats did not actually have cash in there account. 

Please note--this is the same family I wrote about a few months back---who's big un wife cussed me out, punched me and than called the police on us.  
All of this into factor---the day the check bounced and was put back on hold, I attempted to call the army lawyer.

She was not available and no one in the building could help me.

Typical Govt workers right? 

Although the secretary could not help me--she was fine with putting me and my character down.

Which resulted in a lot of yelling from me. 

Today the army lawyer returned to work--and called me back

It did not go well for her---but this is were the following status from my Facebook page came from. 

 

 

 

**apparently it is not to early for arguing with jerks! Mental note: If a call comes up *restricted* don't answer. 2nd note: Have a contract for everything! 2 months later we are still not paid for services due. But if you work on th...e Army base--you can cheat people! But don't yell at the workers on the base, because ripping off people is fine, but using freedom of speech is not. Whatever the case-I had a great conversation with the local army lawyer who didn't give a rats a@@ that her client was still a deadbeat--but that I had yelled at her paralegal. Cliff notes---I just want our $ and no one involved wishes to talk to me again --so half of the problem is solved!  **
