8/18/2014 Where Does The Time GO??

       Hello!  That is as hearty of a greeting as you are going to get this fine morning.  Our oldest and I ventured to the Z Z Top concert in Tucson last night and did not make it to sleep until this morning.  The coffee has not kicked in yet for sure.  I work at the fine casino and the concert was free to workers.  This is the first one I have been able to enjoy because of my schedule at work.  But the place where I work gets packed after concerts with people ready to throw tips at us, so I would usually rather be at work.  It was a very wet night.  And sadly my camera died before the main act hit the stage.  But it was an amazing concert.   I have not been to a concert in a long time.  I have not been sober for a concert in a really long time.  ;)  More on all of this very soon!   Now I am mainly trying to focus on guzzling lots of coffee!   For my birthday I received some Woods Coffee beans, and I recently freshly ground them up.   Yum!   Although I believe they do something magical to the beans at the coffee shop, because they taste much betterer in house.  Washington state is a super long commute for me at the moment, so this is not an option for me.

Coke has this amazingly dumb summer promotion

where you can share a Coke with someone.

All kinds of names are on the back of the bottles.

And people are eating this up!

I do not know why--because you are still drinking Coke--but whatever floats your boat I guess.

Resulting in trashed Coke displays all across the country as people look for there friends names.

It is easy for me, because I have no friends, at least that others can see--and

because I do not drink Coke!

At any rate--real or not, I love the above picture.

Happy Trails!

    I have posted this before, but believe it is true!   Or maybe it's wonderful cheese cake that fixes everything.  Our oldest son just got his own Facebook page---now he will know for sure how twisted his parents are.  Mostly because we are 50% of his friends at the moment.  It's a new page.  Anyways, he loves pie, I believe that is his quote on Facebook right now.  "I like pie!"  And I posted the above picture on his page-which is thinks is beyond kool!

    Hello all!   I had another busy but profitable weekend at work, and am still winding down and trying to become sleepy.  Since these blogs seem to boar everyone, I figured writing one, would surly put me to sleep!  Although since someone, possibly me, put rum in my Pepsi, I really am not very tired.    

      This has been one of those months were I am really slacking at posting.  I have tons of ideas and post ideas for both blogs.  And some day I will use some of them.  At the moment it is 1 30 in the A.M.  so we will not get very deep today.   PLEASE also check out my newest blogs---- also with MANY new posts in the works ----http://exploreb-ham.blogspot.com/ I will pause while you check out the sight!   People often ask me what this blog series is about--- Yes they do.   And I would have to say it is normally about ten paragraphs.  Give of take 5 paragraphs.  Lately is seems to be about coffee an awful lot.  Which makes me re-think my sleeping habits just a little bit.  But not to much, since I am still up and going strong.  Working nights throws off ones sleep schedule rather quickly.  Add in three kids, who love to have sleep overs, and do not understand sleeping in, and you can start to realize why I enjoy coffee so much!  Please also check out my Facebook page.  It needs more likes for sure!   And has direct links to both of my blogs, lots of jokes, and pictures, and a ton about coffee!

    I posted this game in my last blog.   With some responses I have seen so far.   Have any new ones for me?  Please comment on my page if you do.  After 8 years with the company, I am always into games and such that annoy the workers.  Although I have to say the best thing I got from working there, was my wife.  Rather she got me, she was the one hitting on me.  We both worked at the Bellingham Wally World when we meet.  And a very long story short in October it will be seven years of off again on again dating.  She repeatably tries to return me at the return desk, since she got me at the store, but they say--"no deal!"

    **"So close to Halloween---Look I am already wearing my mask! Worse part of fall---everything you by is pumkin flavored. Halloween also marks 7 years of knowing April ;)"**

I currently work at the Silver Reef Casino, and love it.

Many of us can't wait till it's open.  

With fall just starting today, and rain every day all day in the forecast, they are working over time to get the addition done.

8-5-2012 Ramble On--You Say!?

            I am happy to report this works both ways.  At least most of the time.  

     We just had some problems with "friends" posting hateful things online --and than not being sorry that they posted them---but sorry that my wife saw the words.   Without going into it all to much ---here are the cliff notes of my thoughts.  

1. I love how people feel they can say whatever they wish online and than get butt hurt when someone calls them on it. Don't you? I have said things online about my wife, but she has called me on it, and we eventually worked through it. Best case and point--is the Mitch that called me an SOB on my wife's page and than was extremely butt hurt-when I defended myself. Really? Were going through the same thing now----If you put hateful stuff online, have the balls to back it up, or suffer my thoughts. Both on Facebook and in my blogs.

   
   

   1. If you personalize something in a post--you are responsible for the comments it generates. Taking the post down--is not an apology. Nothing is ever fully gone once it is posted on the Internet.         So we have a friend that announces online every month her and her boyfriend are a couple. I think they are at 9 months now--which is great. But to that I ask---how many months is in 7 years, because we are almost there. A big **YOUR AMAZING** to all of the couples out there that have been together much much longer. I love you April Adams forever and a day

    **Ask me why I dislike Subway** Especially the new one in Ferndale. Blog post all about it coming this week.-----Are you like our friend---and hate Subway because there foot long measuring stick made him cry??

   I have been slacking at placing deep quotes in my blogs.  So tonight I added more than usual.   Until lately, every blog post had at least a few to ponder on.   These usually left you pondering, what the heck I was thinking.   Don't worry, I get that daily.  

  Our family goes to a great church.  Plus it is close to our home.  Every time we go to the church, the sermon seems to be tailor picked for either my wife, I, or both of us.  Today was no different.  

   My cliff notes on today's sermon--with some of my own thoughts of course. ----

1. **"Just going to church does not make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car."** 1/3 of the people in this World are starving. 17 million kids die a year from starvation. Think of those stats next time you eat that 5th burger or throw out a tray of food. Starting next weeksend our family is going to start feeding some of the homeless around Bellingham. I am not saying all this to gain attention to what we are doing--but to hopefully get helpers and to make you put it in perspective if you have never had to go to bed hungry.

    In case you have not yet gotten the memo---I like coffee    just a lil bit!

   In fact if you type in coffee in my blog searches---it will appear in about 90 percent of my posts.  I am working on branching out into other topics more. 

   I did not take the above picture---but it is great.     Maybe not as much if you do not know were the 307 area code is from.   Your only hint---it is one of the only states left with only one area code for phone calls.   Meaning the population is very very low.  In this state the first number on car licence plates, also tells you what county the driver is from.
