Happy afternoon! Temperatures are supposed to near or reach triple didgets in the next few daze so I am hiding inside with the A/C cranked until time to go work. I realize we live in the desert, but it seems way to soon for this. And of course the pool in this complex is back to closed for some reason. At least I have not yet heard about how it is only a dry heat.... I freaking hate that! I have talked about it many times before--so I will not grumble today about how annoying that simple phrase can be. The side of work I live in---errr work in is the old side of the building and only has a swamp cooler. So it is cooler than being outside for sure, but mostly a muggy cool. I am not sure why swamp coolers are so popular in the land of the sweating sun. It seems any time we had one, running it just made the inside feel like a rain forest. And not in a good way. But what do I know.
Thank you as always for reading this page, I greatly enjoy that I am not the only person that reads this very page. My mostly local Exploring Arizona blog page is also getting more and more views each day. Tons of updates, pictures, and of course Exploring in the works for this new-ish page. Please check it out
http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/ They are still painting here where I live. I realize the buildings are large and numerous but this has now been a three month process. Very annoying to the residents for sure. And it does not seem they are still to close to being done. Just watching I would not hire this company to paint anything in the future, including my nails.
Old picture but we were still about this happy. not as much about being together as that we love food!
Work has been attempting to cut hours. I say attempting because I am very good at gaining hours and because business is not any slower. It is a good thing that I am interdependently wealthy :) Because of this Friday was my Monday and Friday at work. Giving my beautiful wife and I more time to spend together. We also got the chance to sneak off to The Olive Garden. It was amazing, as always, although I do believe I ate way to much food. It has been way to long since we have eaten at a place like this.
These are from downtown Tucson way to early in the morning yesterday. Blog post to come
