6/22/2016--Yo Yo!

Every day is a party in my world----workin' at the casino

Hello all this xtra sunny afternoon!   Last post seemed to turn into a full mini vent.  I still have some things to complain about ----one of the biggest ones right now on my mind is father's day   but I wont go into any of that on this fine day.     As always thank you for viewing this page!   The views is always increasing some how.  With over 700 posts ---something is sure to make you laugh!   My Exploring Arizona page is also taking off----but it can use your views and help to make it so much more popular.
http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com      Please check it out!      I am happy to say that my slacking has paid off ---and I am almost caught up in my classes!  I am currently just a little behind only in my current unit.  Before I was behind about three units.    Wahoo!
Happy or did I order another beer!?

Yet another bad picture of me
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Flash back six years ago
This is an amazing picture  that I wish was mine.
Main drag  Coffeen  Sheridan Wyoming
this never touched the ground but is an amazing sight.
and scary.  And not just because the old sugar factory stack is in it---another building I have lots of pictures of.   Wyoming does not get this type of weather.
Although many years before a tornado touched down on the top of the mountains.
And just before this picture was shot----a large tornado touched down and kept wrecking havoc in Billings Montana---nearish in western terms------and destroyed the Metro Park  the events center.

Found on my front porch last night.    Gotta love the desert!                                                    The only thing I am disappointed that I have not ran into in my trail visits and Exploring is a Gila Monster

Does this classify as an action play set?

6/21/2016

**"Is it crazy that I cranked the A/C this morning just so I could enjoy coffee--or is that crazy smart!?"**

Another hot one in the desert today.  My wife's sister is in the area for a visit/vacation/break from Washington and I do believe the heat is already getting to her.  I saw a post from her the other day, saying how she is not used to the heat ----I don't believe anyone gets used to it.  They just learn to tolerate it.  Soak in large amounts of air conditioning before bolting from building to building on the hottest daze.  Two days back we hit 115 in beautiful but smoldering Tucson.  Broke heat records for that date set back in 1995.  Several people landed in the hospital after getting to hot---possialby related to power outages across the city.  And several people died in attempts to hike in this weather that could only be loved by The Devil.  I enjoy a crazy hike --but this is beyond crazy.   It is to hot to really even wish to move right now, what would possess someone to hike up mountains and set foot in any part of the desert when it is even close to this hot?  Than rescue teams had to be sent out ---in fact in one case several of the rescuers needed rescued and ended up in the hospital.   Arizona has a law were if you try to drive through a wash during monsoons and need to git rescued---you git to pay for the entire rescue.  The state needs a law about idiot heat hikers also it seems.  Are you reading this Mr Trump?  In ending the only part of the heat I love is when it gets so hot that even the Devil takes mercy and the big monsoons hit!

**"Here is a joke for all you mind readers out there.............."**  :)

I freaking hate this place. Was open while I was working yesterday. To hot for games. Do I jump the fence or take a super cold shower??  Last night I choose a very cold shower.  But mainly because I really thought it was going to rain --and I was planning on just sitting in the rain.  I have not ventured by the pool yet today  but if it is again closed, we are going rounds.  It seems that there would be betterer ways to keep non residents out of the pool beyond always blocking those of  us that live here and pay rent for amenities that we can rarely even use.

http://exarizonagobensonbobcats.blogspot.com/     New post in my Exploring Arizona sight just last night.  Please check them all out and share the links!
Above is my usual hike partner    coffee!!
Looks like an awesome road trip to me!!

Last pondering for today  on here.I have several more gripes to go on about ---but for today I will post jokes after this  to lighten the mood a lil bit.   I cant understand last weeks hostage situation in Texas at a Wal Mart. Doesn't basically the entire state carry guns and know how to use them?? I don't see how he was not disarmed problem solved in like 2.5 seconds. Am missing something?  I am sure with the recent mass shooting and such, this thought line may not be shared with many----but I also know that most of my readers are much smarter than this.

Tucson Exploring Near Mission Park

I have many pictures and such in the works for this very page.  I just have not had the chance to post much in the last few months.  With a vehicle soon in my future again, I will also be expanding my Exploring a great deal starting with a long and much needed road trip.  One of those great ones, with no planning or real thought into the destination. Full of pictures of course.  This very page has lots of old posts to catch up on.  Please share any you enjoy to help get the word out if you like this page.   For even more Exploring, outside of beautiful Arizona please also check out my first blog page.   At www.wyomingjack.blogspot.com

My Exploring will be cut very short during the first week or so of July.  The casino I work at seems to already be a place I am more than home.  But that week is also the anniversary week of there opening and of course the 4th.  So tons more events for all.  I hope you all get to enjoy all they have to offer.

About a week ago I found myself staying up all night.  Studying for my classes and cleaning and typing and such.  I have found when it is really hot it is easier to sleep during the day and be productive at night.  About  4 30 AM I needed out of my small space and ended up near 12th Avenue.  I parked my borrowed car out of the way and took off on foot.  This will be a short posting, because even at this early hour it soon became hot out.  And soon after finding coffee, I realized I was very tired.  I think I managed to snap some great pictures before retiring to bed though.

Small park across and down from 12th Avenue.
Got in a few pictures while the sun was coming up
And just before several large, un leashed dogs came around for there early walk.

Art can be found in all corners of Tucson.
I very soon want to visit all the huge new murals in the down town area.
I believe there are eight and I will soon have pictures of them all.

Dora is always excited about Exploring!

A painted cactus in case you do not see enough of the real thing.

One can just make out A Mountain in this work of art.
A sight that makes it's way in many of my pictures.
The mountain that is.

Heading back towards Mission Park in residential areas.
I really enjoy this particular shot.

Small church just beside the main road.
Just before sun rise.

I am not sure why this picture turned out so blurry.
It is some amazing art.
Sadly in this picture the white dove to the left is hard to make out
as is the giant hand to the right
I also have to wonder a little bit why so much security and bars and such
is needed at a church, guess it's just a sign of the times.

Full bloom in the heart of Mission Park

I really like the tree in the back ground.

This is a large park.
With lots of grass   always a welcome sight in the desert.
Multiple play grounds and many full sized baseball fields.
It looks like a nice pool used to line the back of the park, but the water looks far from swim able now.
I believe I also spotted a large boys and girls club near the back of the park.
I guess a park would make a perfect back yard.

With all the fires in the area the sun had a more red tint than normal.
I am always amazed at sun rises and sets in Arizona.
Mostly sun sets because I am not usually up early enough to see the sun rise.
The colors are always so different and shatteringly beautiful.
I got these shots from the top of a large set of bleachers in the middle of the park.

Last shot from the park before I went to find coffee and than shortly after rest.

Until we meet again  as always

HAPPY TRAILS!!
