June 3rd 2016 Or Gosh It's Hot!!

         Hello all this fine afternoon!  It is so warm out that I am not doing much --soon going from the comfort of my own air conditioning to the some what comfort of the air conditioning at work.  You know it is hot--when I have to crank my A/C to enjoy my morning coffee!  It did wait till June to reach over 100 temperatures here in the desert!  In fact I had to chuckle when the nightly news reported that temperatures would drop to 106 on Monday.  As always this very page is continuing to get loads of views.   Thank you all!

Brand new newbie called in again. Glad we hired such dependable workers :-) who cares more hours for me----  We suddenly went from to few workers on our shift at work  to way to many.  So the fact that a brand new worker has already called off twice this week--pleases me possibly more than it should.  It gained me 6 work hours in the last two nights.  When the managers asked me last night if I could stay longer and cover--I thanked them for hiring such dependable newbies.  The managers just glared at me as U laughed my way out of the office.  A common occurrence now a daze.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           




Thoughts? Being a server for so long has made me extra picky when we do go out to eat. But I also know many things are beyond the servers control. I also quickly know if you just suck at your job. I am SO sick of hearing how it's not really all that hot because Arizona has a dry heat. In fact if I hear it one more time, I think I am going to give that person a dry punch. It makes as much sense. Once it is over 100 outside like today, it is just F'in hot ---no dry, wet, sloppy, or cold heat needs to be involved.
