Another Day Another Post

Cheers to all of my amazing readers!  With what I put in these pages it often amazes and always humbles me how many people actually read this page.   This is my first and longest running blog page and it is often filled with very random rambling for sure.   The same results seem to surface if I am drinking coffee or adult beverages.  Just a few hours ago I dropped my wife off at the Greyhound bus station for her several day trip to LA, California.  I always hate to see her go---and upon returning home I can not seem to find sleep.   So lucky you, I am going to make another post!   The other night at a great concert my extremely neat camera got overly wet, even under my shirt---   much of what I do online, comes from the pictures I take, so I am still working on all of that.   But I just downloaded all of the pictures that were stored on my camera, and can happily say that the rain did not effect them in the least.   I was very happy about this, because the pictures went clear back to the 4th of July and because there was well over a hundred pictures on the camera.   I will slowly be putting them up in regular and Exploring blogs for your possible enjoyment.    Again thank you to everyone that enjoys and likes this page!   When I was not working I accumulated a lot of pages online   from three blog pages to random pages on Facebook---next post I will list them all for your enjoyment.  And in hopes that you will join and "like" them all.   This  page has seen a ton of changes and has been around for a few years now.   I would like to hope that at least a few of the many views to this page are actual repeat visitors who maybe kindda like what they see here!
Speaking of adult beverages--- I have before talked about the pure joys of a shower beer!   I tried to explain all of this at work the other day, and no one appeared to understand what I was ranting about, but I can almost bet everyone tried it when they got home that very night!   It is a very easy concept.   One drinks a bottle of fine beer or two while taking a shower.   And you do not exit the shower until the beverage is gone.   If you do not angle the drink right, it could be a very long shower for sure.   I can not emphases here how enjoyable and relaxing this really is.  You just need to try it for yourself!   Do it now   you can read this mindless drivel at any point.   I am just making all of this up as I go anyway, after just taking a very long, very mind clearing shower beer break.   Tag   now it's your turn!

I stole this from my brothers page and laughed and laughed.
Most people do not seem to find it as funny though.

This is how my dog sleeps.
He does not know he is a pit bull and is beyond friendly.
He also has huge balls and likes to make sure they are facing us at all times.

Not that anyone cares, but I turned even older in the merry month of July.
I received some great gifts.
Including this bag of Woods Coffee!
Arizona is full of bad coffee---so this gift from Bellingham, WA was very welcome.
At least my coffee will never go cold in Arizona!

My family also got me and filled this great frame.
Now I just need to find a place to hang it.
Notice Mr Mark made a spot on this picture gallery.
I keep threatening   but now I have downloaded all the pictures, so our
local Exploring will be up soon!

Here he is in Tombstone, AZ

My family also made me this amazing state quarter  framed set.
All of the states are there with the quarters.

So after five attempts
I finally made it to the top of A mountain in Tucson.
More on this VERY soon

A wee baby cactus for your enjoyment.
I have never seen one this small before.
It is vertically challenged for sure.
And is about a foot tall.

Bigger version overlooking Tucson.

More pictures and Exploring coming your way when it is not
2 AM and I am just a little more awake!

Next Exploring blog post comes from Benson, AZ
on the July 4th parade.
Again please ignore the date stamp on the picture, this was this year.

At Least Our Coffee Never Gets Cold In Arizona!

So many trails   so little time.
                                                   Bellingham, Washington

My family and I have lived in Arizona before--in fact if you factor us all together, there is very few places in the US we have not lived or visited.  But it has been a long while since we lived in the state "Of the sweating sun" before.  After living in Washington for the last few years, we are slowly getting used to a lot of things here.   The biggest difference, is seeing sunshine so much!   With the sunshine comes heat- and sunburns.   Another huge difference is the landscape, exploring conditions, and wildlife.  I am typing this blog post outside, and am surrounded by curious lizards and many many bugs, that seem to just want to attack me.  To make things more interesting, this month we are all staying in a 21 foot travel trailer.  We got a great deal on the trailer, but various functions of the trailer take turns not working.   Small functions, like the water, or the A/C.   So one or all of us waking up on the wrong side of the bed, is a common occurrence.  We are over-joyed to report that we are moving into a nice and nice sized house next weeksend!!  One of the big selling points was that the house has two bathrooms, because we now have two Middle School aged children, and often tend to find ourselves locked out of the one current bathroom for important things like hair combing and staring at ones self in the mirror.   Amazingly little toilet usage is done in our bathroom.

As I keep saying, I have a ton of ideas and changes coming for all of my blogs.  And at least when I am full of caffeine--I am very excited about all of these.   The best--and most work comes with a brand new, third blog sight---all about exploring Arizona.  I do not have an opening date yet, but it will be this summer for sure!   From our journeys and such, I also have a ton of exploring pictures and posts in the works.  I find it very helpful to make a list of whats coming.   So that I can be sure and not accomplish any of it.  So below I will post many of the up-coming pages you can enjoy and or laugh at.  With the move, the heat, running from angry bugs, finding a house, finding a job, spotty wi-fi connections,  etc ---New posts have been extra rare on here.   I hope to remedy that soon!!     As always----Please leave me comments, visit all of my sights, and pass on the links ---if you enjoy what you see here!!   ** I know that last one is a big IF.**

My very next post----possibly coming this afternoon,  "Hahahahahhahahahah!" ;)   Will be all about my mini voyage to Billings, Montana to visit with my great parents.

Our rig and home at the moment at the start out point -
Bellingham, WA.
I find it amazing-that all three rigs involved in this move--all three of us broke down on the road.
"If we didn't have bad luck, we would have no luck at all."---April Adams

But we made it---safe and sound!

Right after I returned  from the big city of Billings, we headed out on our cross country move.   This was supposed to be a four day trip---and turned into an almost two week -VERY expensive voyage.   So I have lots of thoughts and pictures to share!    Including some great exploring along the way!!     This will probably turn into a multi- part post.

                                                         Viva Las Vegas!

Mine town exploring.

Last weeksend we took the short drive to the famous city of Tombstone---"The town to tough to die!"    And enjoyed a full day of history and gun fights.

                                               Our next Christmas cards?
Would you mess with this family?

Last night was a "Super Moon."   Basically we were so close to the moon, that it appeared  much fuller than a regular full moon.   The kiddos and I drove out to the nearby caverns and took a park ranger guided trail hike, as we watched the huge moon slowly rise.

Than I wish to make a post/glossary of all of my exploring posts from each of my pages.   Kind of a quick reference guide.   This will also mark the finish of my Bellingham, WA posts.   Were I wish to get the word out on that page so it can be used as a travel/tourist guide for the beautiful area.  It will also be a launching off pad for my newest blog series.   I really wish all of my trips and exploring were offered here---but this page and my memory only go back about two years at this time.   ;)

Again thank you for being a reader!      And as always -----HAPPY TRAILS!

And now here are some jokes borrowed for your enjoyment!!

My parents and wife often have this exact same expression.

Just Another Day In Paradise

The above picture is from just outside of Benson, Arizona.
I have so many new exploring pictures to add and share VERY soon!

This post brought you you by Mr Coffee!!

Hello all and welcome to another, long awaited batch of my random rambling!  With our cross country move turning into an extended, very costly adventure, and the very spotty wi-fi were we live at the moment-- I have not focused on blog posts for awhile.  I am happy and thankful to announce that this page now has 16,000+ views!   Thank you all for that, and please share my links if you actually enjoy what you see here.  Many times I just see this page as a glorified journal for myself.  My 2nd blog page is full of exploring and personal pictures of Washington.   And my 3rd blog page will drop this summer----full of exploring Arizona and all this area has to offer.   I really hope you enjoy these pages even half as much as I enjoy making them.

Us all in Tombstone, AZ last week.
After the gun fight
Whole blog post on this coming soon.

With the long trip and such, I have more people to add to my dislike or "DURP" list, so watch for updates.  If you do not know what a DURP is---type DURP into this pages search section.  If you do not find the post of explanation amusing, Surprise!, you are probably a DURP.   **I can tell you here that DURP stands for----- Dim-witted Urban Redneck Parole.   One of the best examples you will soon get to read about--is a couple from Bellingham---I have posted about the wife before, but her and her "Great" husband, are quickly topping the list as my all time Queen and Queen Durp!   **Golf clap!

Also new to the list -is the sight manager at the RV park we are staying at this month.   We are all on edge, five people and a big dog in a 21 foot travel trailer, in the sun, not everything in the trailer actually works.   But it is purdy nice for only paying  $200.00 for the trailer.   Anyways- long story short, the manager is a huge DURP.   So much so that all of our tongues are bleeding, from biting them so hard- to not say anything back that will get us kicked out before we get approved for the nice rental house down the street.   I however did not say I would not push the limits----  like by typing these blogs in the rec room/his office  were he spends most of the day hiding from his wife, and taking over the large screen TV.   ;)

We hope to be in the nice rental by next week, at that point I can stop holding back and earn my "Prick" badge yet another time.   My wife is overly happy, because against all of my bad thoughts of joining the dark side again, I just got a job at Wally World again.  They obviously have not seen my blog posts about the great DURP company or my non fan page on Facebook.   It is mainly an easy way to start collecting a paycheck again, until I can jump into a much better paying job, and better environment.   Anyways, my wife is very happy, almost Cheeseball, because when I quit the DURP company way back in 2007, after eight long years of being a blue wearing associate, I told her she could shoot me in the foot --if I ever worked for the retail giant again.   So get ready to call me Hop Along!

This is a very old picture -but I love it!
We would not all be able to fit on the bed as comfy now.

Father's Day was last week----and we had a very relaxed day here.  Trying not to get to much sun, and chasing down lizards and such through the desert.   I realize that moms do it all, but at least at our house there is a huge difference between Mother's and Father's day.   Huge.
Anyways, I have never claimed to be a good father, but I try.   Being the step dad---I try even harder than many.

That's not right!   What is more not right---is that you chuckled after reading this, even if it was just a lil bit under your breath!  ;)

And now some jokes for y'all!

I have more pictures on the same thought line--but these are the only two I can find at the moment.....
